Personal Update: (May 8th) As of today, everything is on hiatus for awhile. I've hit a brick wall after a few months of burning the wick at both ends, and I need to step back from everything right now and take a good, long break. My personal life is in tatters. I'm exhausted, sick, and in a lot of physical pain. I'm not taking joy in a lot of things I used to, and I need to really just quit everything for a bit, and remind myself what I love to do I do for me, and not for anyone else. I don't intend to abandon my projects permanently, or go on a purge or anything of the sort, but I do need to take a small vacation from both my personal and "professional" worlds for awhile. When I recover, which I cannot promise when, things will go on as they did before. I can only apologize for having to make anyone wait for things that they were hoping to see finished in the foreseeable future. I'll see you guys again hopefully soon, and I wish you all well till that time comes. Seeya!

About Me: I'm a short, mouthy, and pretty acerbic Canadian who has wild dreams about being an accomplished author, and not much else to my name. I like my animals, and currently own a cat, and have been living on my own since I was about eighteen. I've no family, few friends, but I'm headstrong, independent, and like to do things my way, my pace, and without much interference. I'm opinionated and pessimistic, pretty proud and sarcastic, and I've been told I can make a sailor blush with my vast array of curse words in my vocabulary, as well as my free use of them. I'm a Virgo, was born in the Year of the Monkey, and my associated Arcana is Death, with Tower taking up a clear second place. I also suffer from depression, GAD, and PTSD, and am currently living off of disability due to a car accident in the early 2000s that left my without much use of my leg, and a lot of chronic pain.

About My Avatar: As you may have noticed, my ancient avatar has gotten a reboot, and that is due to the genius and talent of starichampion on Tumblr. (I would link, but FFN hates that.) My fiance, Amelia, decided to spend some time revamping my avatar for me, and as such, I have to promote her skill for the whole world to see. I owe her everything, and I am not gonna stop tossing people her way for her wicked sense of humour, her amazing talent in art and head-canons, her compassionate nature, and just the fact that she is just simply awesome. What do you mean I'm biased? :3

Anime/Manga/Game Preferences: I could put a nice and huge list of all my favourite games and animes, but that'd take up the entire page and it's not worth it. So instead, I'll just let you know what I look for in games, animes and such. I'm a romantic, so there always needs to be romance somewhere in anything I read, watch, or play. Also action is fun to keep a good pace, but what really pulls me in is a good plot. Most of my favourite stuff has beautiful plot and intriguing characters, with romance sprinkled here and there to make a great balance. Of course, comedy is always a plus. It doesn't matter if it's slapstick or dark, as long as I do get a laugh out of it eventually... With games I like a challenge intellectually, but in any game I never let myself lose a character in my party... and I do a lot of grinding, even if it's not required. One-hundred percent completion isn't my friend, but someday I'll do it... just never in Tales games. -grins sheepishly-

Alternate Accounts: Though most of my fanfiction is posted and kept here, my non-fanon work is left to the art-hosting site of Deviant Art, where I go under the same name. I also have begun posting on the beta version of Archive of Our Own, and I am under the exact same name as I am here on FFN. So, if you see any work there that you have also seen here, don't worry about theft, it's just me trying to spread my wings and explore a new website! I also tend to lurk on Serenes Forest, using the name Skywolfe, and I'm always up for being hollered at for a conversation or two if you catch me running my mouth anywhere. (And yes, I am aware that I'm rather unimaginative with usernames... You may laugh if you wish.)
