Maybe it's the mood I'm in, or maybe it's because I'm not such a fan of Titania/Greil, but this story didn't hit me as hard as it should have. I think it was lighter than your other stories and not as overwhelmingly bittersweet.

Nonetheless it was a nice read with some more advanced vocabulary blended in (I think). Keep up the good work and have a nice trip to China (or more likely at the time you read this, welcome back!)

Very bittersweet, but a pleasant read. After reading this, I don't believe Greil could have survived Elena's death and taken care of his children if he didn't have Titania there to help him shoulder his burden. It's really tragic, Elena's death and how much pain Greil's in about it, but your writing shows just how much Titania feels the same amount of pain as Greil, but how she just neglects to say much about it, instead trying to take care of Ike and Mist in Elena's stead to allow Greil to mourn for his wife. I think this fic suggests a lot about Titania's feelings, and I really like the approach you've taken to display that.

There's really not enough Greil and/or just Titania fics out there, and I'm happy to say that you added a great one.

Very nice. A while ago I was lamenting to a friend the lack of fics about Titania, so it's nice to see another one around-and you really nailed it, I think. Both Titania and Greil are in-character, and I especially love the sense of ease and acceptance that Titania finds at the end. Well done. :D

How sweet. There needs to be more Titania fic in the world.

A small remark: I felt that the pacing was a little odd, especially how quickly morning came.

I like how Titania's affections are touched upon, but just as in canon (and the prompt), kept at bay by greater human concerns.

That was such a sad situation, it's terrible when a mother dies. -(
