I love how Roy just spout these random things off the top of his head and is just not suave at all when he's with Riza. This was bittersweet but also humorous, which I enjoyed. You did a good job capturing their relationship and the struggles that come with it. This was my favourite line: He would never tell her these things, because they were not lovers any longer; they were merely in love.

Wonderful read! I loved how fluidly it fell into the timeline. I also really liked this line.. "He'd promised her dying father that he would keep her safe. He still wasn't sure how that got so twisted, how she became the one protecting him (mostly from himself)." Such a good point.

This is absolutely and positively amazing. I know that you have it listed as a one-shot, but I think it has real potential as a multi-chapter, just to mention. However, it's beautifully written. It's so wonderful to read stories like this, stories where the characters are so real that its almost painful, where the writing is good that you forget that its on the internet, where you can't help but think, "If only Arakawa had put that in the manga, my life would be complete". Congratulations, honestly!

That was great! I loved the way they so very slowly stared with the soft touches and progressively moved to something much for intimate. Just the thought of them sharing a kiss gives me butterfiles! That scene where their lips first touched played out wonderfully in my head. I don't suppose the manga will ever give us so much satisfaction. Thank god for fan fic!
