This would play after Lloyd disarms the bomb at the Asgard Ruins. Lloyd is normal, Raine is bold.

Lloyd and Raine's Explosive Teamwork

"You're pretty good at setting up bombs, Professor. Especially for someone who hasn't had much experience with them."

"I'd like to point out that it was an accident this time." (Black squiggly) "But then bombs aren't that difficult to set up. Your ability to defuse them is much more impressive. How did you learn to do that?"

"..."

"Lloyd, I hope you haven't been playing around with explosives. That can be very dangerous."

"Oh, no, that's not it. Dad taught me the basics, but I never really got a chance to practice. I guess I'm just good at keeping things from blowing up."

"You can instantly understand the complex circuitry inside a bomb well enough to safely defuse it, but can't stay awake for your classes..." (Sigh) "What am I going to do with you, Lloyd?"

"Don't worry, professor. You just keep setting up the bombs and I'll keep shutting them down. We'll be a great team!" (Confident)

"W-wait! I don't plan to make this a regular occurrence!" (Startled)

AN: In an alternate timeline Lloyd and Raine formed a Team Rocket-esque duo that used highly theatric, but ultimately harmless, bombs at ruins across Sylvarant to raise interest in their study and preservation. It worked, surprisingly.

"To unite the people against devastation!"

"To denounce the evils of unchecked tourism, our foe!"
"To extend our search to the ground below!"
