PERSONAL INFORMATION :

In regards to personal information, I am twenty-one years' old and I live on the eastern coast of the United States. I am a junior in college and am currently majoring in English Writing, which means that I'm usually one incredibly busy person. If I do not get back to you on something right away or fail to update any of my fics on time, this would be the reason why. This, and because I do have a social life, believe it or not. Plus, a demanding job.

My native (and only language) is English, though I did take three years of Latin in high school. Unfortunately, that knowledge has long-since evaporated. In other news, I always make an active effort not to appear rude. If I do ever come across as such in any of my PMs or posts, I apologize in advance and will say that I really did not mean to come across that way. I'm really not a confrontational person at all, if you ever get to know me. In fact, I'd much rather help a well-mannered person than argue with an ill-mannered one.

WHAT IS MY GOAL HERE ?

I write when the mood strikes me. When I've just watched an excellent movie or TV show, played a fantastic video game, or read a really good book, and a particular idea won't leave me alone until I write it down. Basically, it helps me de-obsess over things. I like exploring 'what-if' scenarios and things that never happened in canon, although the Muses truly are fickle mistresses.

Ultimately, my goal here is to improve my writing style with helpful comments from the Fanfiction community. I'm a perfectionist, so my work normally undergoes several drafts before I post in online. That is, if I don't get completely sick of looking at it first. I'm pretty good with grammar and spelling, so I beta my own work. If one or two errors slip through, then please forgive me. It's a mistake anyone might make, really.

Lately, I've also been experimenting with different styles of writing. A lot of detail in one, little to no detail in another, something that's more abstract, etc. If one story does not meet your standards, then that doesn't mean they all will. Just sayin'. Additionally, I'm a huge fan of Jack London's work so I do try to copy his style a lot. (He's known for novels such as the Call of the Wild, White Fang, the Sea Wolf, etc.)
