Author has written 2 stories for Mass Effect.

Update 11/13 - I'm still writing, I swear! I ran into a bit of a health issue, (more on that later), which kept me from writing for a few weeks. I hope to have the next chapter of Weighted out within the next week!

[Insert "It's been 84 years" meme here]

Forgive me, readers, for I have done an oops. It's been five years since my last story. I'm working on fixing that. I didn't write a 20 page outline for nothing. ಠ_ಠ

Originally, I wasn't sure if I should post any stories that I've written, but I figured they weren't doing any good sitting on my computer where no one could enjoy them...Possibly. Things have certainly changed around here. And yes, I'm one of the many, MANY people who returned to this site because of ME3. Say what you will about those endings, but the vast majority of the game was brilliant and well thought out, (enough to get a lot of people to start writing again), and that's what matters most.

Truth be told, on top of school/work, I've been trying to write original works including a novel and /nosleep/ stuff, so...'Too many ideas, not enough time' scenario.

About me: Was in medicine, had an existential crisis, now back in school for a different but similar career. I started writing fanfiction once again out of wanting another relaxing hobby away from my studies that I could take anywhere if I had free time. I know I'm a little rusty in the creative writing department, but I greatly appreciate anyone who will sit through and read my stories. :)

Story Progress as of 3/2018:

Weighted (Currently Updating): Sequel to Waiting. Takes place around seven years after the destroy ending of ME3. Tertius, the C-Sec officer turned excavation engineer for the Turian Heirarchy, hasn't been in contact with his dear friend and fellow Citadel survivor, Mary, for the five years following her departure for an Alliance medical institution. Rated a strong T, potentially M, for language, violence, smoking, horror, and suggestive themes.

The Embers of Stars (Working Title): Spiritual successor to Waiting. Takes place during the same time frame of the last story/ME3, centered around the departing turian soldier and his asari wife. (Their conversation can be heard before the Cerberus attack on the Citadel in the...uh...docking area? When you first get off the Normandy. The name escapes me at the moment). Rated a T for language, violence, romance, and dad jokes.

Waiting (Complete): Set during Mass Effect 3 about the turian C-Sec officer and human refugee teenager. Rated T for language and violence. Might want to start here if you're new to the page. I apologize in advance for the awful typing/spelling/grammar mistakes.

Hiatus/Rework:

Truth be told, I lost a lot of work when my external hard drive failed, which contributed to my lack of motivation to finish anything. Still, I'm just going to leave this here in case I get back to anything.

Common cultural sayings I've used that have been asked by other people:

"Nerves standing on end" - getting goosebumps/chills that can feel painful due to anxiety. No, I know, nerves don't actually stand on end, lol.

"Boonies" - aka 'the boondocks'; the middle of nowhere.

Perhaps the war never ended. The idea that the Reapers had absorbed the living into their collective consciousness and tricked them into believing a comforting lie was not unreasonable. It wasn't true, though - such a nightmarish existence would have hurt far less than the reality of the war's aftermath. Sequel to "Waiting", following the turian C-Sec officer and refugee girl.
