Galaxy At War: N7

Last time I updated my profile, I was talking about a hundred chapters, and five hundred reviews for Galaxy at War. Now, it's over four hundred chapters, and well past two thousand reviews. I can't tell you how enjoyable it is to write something people respond to this well, and the fans are what make Galaxy at War - all but half a dozen of the characters have been submitted by readers and reviewers. I'm not going to lie, Galaxy at War is in the wind-down now. You can only keep a story fresh for so long, and I'd rather give it a triumphant send-off than carry it on and start getting desperate. There are a few GaW-related side projects milling around my hard drive, though, and the main story isn't done just yet - I know we'll make five hundred, and I'm secretly hoping for six...

The Cambrai Files

"Delve into the personnel files of the "N7 ship", the SSV Cambrai. Companion story to Galaxy at War: N7."

Exactly what it says on the tin. The Cambrai Files grew from the idea of an "archive" of sorts, a record of all the characters used in Galaxy At War that readers new and old alike can refer to if they're struggling to remember who a minor character is, or want to make sense of a reference without delving through 400 chapters to find it. Currently not updating, because... well, there aren't any more characters to cover, but The Cambrai Files is ongoing as long as Galaxy at War is, and will be updating again soon.

The Return

I'm not even entirely sure where this fic came from. I've always loved Dragon Age, and I think I was one of the few people who enjoyed Dragon Age II (mechanics aside, I loved the story, and I owe it a huge debt because it made me go out and buy the original...). I had enough of a fanbase for Galaxy at War at the time that I figured the jump to another Bioware staple would be pretty easy to make. I find it a little harder to write for The Return - the chapters are longer and more involved than the serial Galaxy at War - and updates are few and far between, but it's not on hiatus. I will still update when I can, because I really do like this story. Other Dragon Age projects are in the works, too...

Defiant To The End

"Because, you know, there just aren't enough alternate ending fics out there. This was a way of venting which turned into creative rambling, and thought I might as well throw it into the pile."

The first of three Shepard fics, and my first ever sojourn into Mass Effect writing, it deals with the "fourth option" most Mass Effect fans seemed to want during ME3's ending - Refuse! Unfortunately, I've hit a brick wall and all but abandoned this one in favour of Galaxy at War - I just can't seem to write Shepard and his crew, not to a degree I actually *like* publishing...
