 Author has written 54 stories for Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Torchwood. Life. It's ever changing, ever growing, forever developing, and with that comes saying goodbye to previous chapters. This is what I am doing today. Fanfiction brought me a comfort, a peace, a place to call home when I needed it most. And I loved it then; the friendships I made, the kindred spirits out there in the world that held me with their words as much as I held them with mine. But there's always been the struggle with these words, and I found more and more they were just too difficult to form. The last story I've posted here was several years ago. To go back and finish those incomplete, or attempt something new... it's a daunting task now to me. The joy writing once provided me is now nothing more than a burden; I've lost the love I once had for these stories. My apologies to those who have left reviews that I have not responded to. Each email notification was like a stab to my heart; I wanted to respond, to thank and appreciate anyone who took the time to read these stories, but it was like revisiting an ex repeatedly: too painful, because I did once love this place more than life itself. And now it's time to let it go for good. I will leave these stories here for anyone who still wishes to read them, or new readers who may find their way here. Thank you to those who always supported me. Thank you to those who encouraged me. Thank you even to those who hated me, because you motivated me further into proving you wrong. Most of all, thank you to the friendships and bonds that were created from this place; though they too are in the past, know that you all still have a very special place in my heart forever. |
