I love that they're on the same page where their future is concerned, and that Cullen's devotion to duty pales in the face of his devotion to her - they've deserved it, after everything they went through.

I hadn't even considered the blend of poisons Cullen would have been cleaning up, but it makes so much sense - and makes it an even better thing that Isabela was the one to go after him. And then Cullen and Solona back together, so sweet and so hot!

I can't help but feel a little sad for Sebastian, having success drawn from his grasp at the last minute. But I'm excited to see Solona and Cullen back together again - even if it does mean she owes Isabela!

And Sebastian gets his revenge. Can't say I blame him overly much, but I feel sad for Solona having to witness it and be the unwitting cause.

Isabela to the rescue! Glad to see someone had thought of a contingency plan.

Isabela and Leliana - what a lovely combo. I like their standoff and Leliana's openness. And I adored Varric's opener.

The layers of tone in this chapter are perfect - the sweetness and emotion and determination of Cullen and Solona together for the first time and then the impending danger of Varric's news offset by the lightness of his insatiable curiosity for a good story. Nicely done.

The history of their mutual temptation and torment was very effective, and the tentativeness of their conversation in the present day speaks to both of their underlying uncertainty about themselves and their place in the world and how the other one fits in.

Cullen in clothes sounds quite hot, and the sense of the two of them watching each other and wanting and not entirely sure of the other's desires was really sweet and delicately torturous here.

Sebastian the stalker - that's an interesting change for him, but makes a lot of sense. I'll be interested to see if any of Hawke's other friends are aware of his activities.

Carver, Varric, and Isabela to the rescue? That's an intriguing group, the three of them!

Your Cullen bridges very nicely between the tormented soul of Origins and the wiser, gentler, more in control version of DA2. I love adding Solona to the Hawke household and her reunion with Sandal was beautifully sweet.

You can really see the threads of the past in the tentative resumption of their relationship in the future, and the glimpse into that past has ominous overtones despite its lightness. Really well-balanced chapter.

That was a beautifully described kiss, and it delineated the past relationship between them equally beautifully.
