About Me:

I began writing on this site in 2004, when I began my first fic, Clipped Wings. It was stupid, so eventually, I took it down (and the computer that it was saved on crashed WHOOPS) and replaced it with Plummet. It's also stupid, but I've kept it up, partly because I'm stubborn and hope to one day finish it, and partly because it serves as a benchmark of how far I've come. While I'm not the best writer out there, I've got some good stuff for fans of Metroid and Fire Emblem (mostly Rekka No Ken, but I do dabble in the other games), and there's even some stuff on here that I'm proud of, like Fealty, Life, and On Angel's Wings. So, if you've got the time (and the attention span), I hope you take a look. You might find something you like.

My Stories:

You may wonder, "Why bother listing your stories in your profile when I can just see them underneath it?" The answer is, "Because I can tell you more here." The story summaries have a word limit, and I largely try to keep them to summarizing the stories themselves; listing pairings, noting when it's set, and saying stuff like "Please read and review!" in your summary always felt pretty tacky to me. So here's where I tell you all the crap I want you to know but don't want to put in my summaries, like whether or not it's a one-shot, what pairings it involves, and the time frame. Enjoy!

Current Stories:

Plummet: (Fire Emblem, 7) Florina is shot down during a battle, and the main group leaves her behind... along with Heath. As they try to catch up, the two must deal both with a mysterious attacker and their feelings for each other.

A Chink in the Armor: (Metroid, post-Fusion) Samus loses her Fusion Suit to an elaborate Space Pirate scheme. A federation biologist is able to offer a solution, and the now-suitless Samus sets out to wipe out the last of the pirates.

Their Night: (FE7) Hector leads the group to an Ostian fort where they spend the night before heading to Valor for the final battle. The soldiers, not knowing if they'll live to see more than one more sunrise, each have someone they want to spend their last night with; this could be their last chance to tell the ones they love that they love them.

Wingmates: (FE7) Heath and Fiora grow close over the course of their battles against the Black Fang and Nergal, but neither is willing to risk the pain of loving the other after the tragedies in their lives. Eventually, though, they may be able to overcome their fears and allow themselves to be happy again.

Completed Stories:

On Angel's Wings: (FE7) Florina grows close to Lucius. He's afraid that it's because she thinks he's a woman, but is that really all that's going on?

One shots/Drabbles:

Life: (Metroid, Echoes) Samus meets a Pirate who speaks English, refuses to fire on her, and is going to bring a very strange fact about herself to light.

Makar and Huey: (FE7) An attempt to explain why Florina's pegasus is referred to variably as male and female, as well as both Huey and Makar.

Fealty: (FE, pre-6) Heath gets a visit from Miledy, who's been having mixed feelings about serving Bern.

I Am An Army: (FE8) They say when you're about to die, your life flashes before your eyes. But now, with Valter's lance plummeting towards my heart, all I see is one image. Gift fic for Macbeth 7768.

Dependability: (FE7) Mark has grown more and more attracted to Florina, but never stated his feelings, sure they were unrequited. Until the night after the final battle, when she comes to him and they have a very interesting conversation...

Sharance: (Rune Factory, 3) Micah spends the day traveling around Sharance and helping out its townsfolk, finding himself constantly reminded of just how crazy most of them are... and how fond he's grown of each and every one of them. A tribute to the zany awesomeness of the RF3 cast, with a bit of Micah/Carmen at the end.
