Author has written 38 stories for Tales of Symphonia, Death Note, Halo, Transformers/Beast Wars, Kingdom Hearts, Transformers, Jak and Daxter, and Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm surprised you're here, but so long as you are, I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for at leas trying to live through my half-decent writings. I'm not a professional writer. Far from it. Sometimes I'm downright awful. But I write for me and that's about all there is to it. Speaking of which, some of my stories are MUCH older than others, which means that the quality will vary greatly. This is also affected by the fact that my mind is a very strange place at times, so something that I write and seem great at the time may seem like a smolten piece of slag after a month or two (Cosmic Balancing and Allspark are good examples of this.). Inside the Game and Red Walled Building are ANCIENT stories that I keep up for sentimental value only. I'll probably get rid of them sooner or later (Ha, RWB is gone now). Probably sooner. I think I started working on RWB when I was like... eleven. Maybe even younger. The others are mediocre, but better than the rest. And of course, some are still better/worse than others. (I'm actually pretty proud of my Paranoia series at the moment, such as it seems to be turning into. Admittedly, I am considering rewriting alot of my stories, but I keep getting sidetracked.) I am, obviously, much more proficient at shorter stories. I don't really have the talent or patience for something really long, though I hope to get it together one day. And I know nobody clicks these (because nine times out of ten, it's not so good), but I can hope right? http:/// And for those of you who are lazy like myself, and can't be bothered to go the long way around, here's all the stuff that's directly related to my stories. It's all Transformers (though my actual gallery is more varied), and most of it's OC stuff, but I think I have some others here somewhere... Paranoia-verse and it's various offshoots http:///art/TF-Here-and-Gone-Again-92718735 :Gunpowder and Blacklight. A scene taken directly from Here and Gone Again. If you haven't read it, I would suggest reading it first. Very sad. http:///art/TF-Science-Talk-96154571 :An AU to Here and Gone Again. You know, if Blacklight had survived. I like the kid. Really, I do. http:///art/TF-First-Sight-88704125 :Wireweaver and Greenlight. Wireweaver you may recognise, and Greenlight you may not. I may not have liked Wireweaver, but apparently Greenlight did. Weird kid. His design has changed mightily since this picture. http:///art/TFOC-Wireweaver-98156086 :Wireweaver, as she appears in Illusions and Here and Gone Again http:///art/TF-Flip-Side-144602887 : Another one of Gunpowder and Blacklight. http:///gallery/#/d2qd25g :From left to right, Redlight, Commtech, and Greenlight. Greenlight's face is about the only thing I like about this picture. Clouds Above and Worlds Away http:///art/TF-Late-Night-Nap-83252951 A scene from early on in Clouds Above and Worlds Away. I think the siblings had a lot of group napping like this. http:///gallery/#/d1smo6k :Skyraider, as he appears in his very brief role in Clouds Above. Yes I forgot the shoulder vent things. So sue me. http:///gallery/#/d2ghchm :Cloudiver and Skyraider, after Ch.6 but shortly before Ch.7. http:///art/TF-For-What-It-s-Worth-98348376 :Jazz and Cloudiver take a moment to themselves. My Animated Bluestreak, as he appears in When Cities Fall and the eventual System Error. http:///art/AniBlueStreak-Sounds-of-Battle-114364856 : When Cities Fall inspired. Mostly, I just really wanted to draw Animated Bluestreak. http:///art/TFA-Smile-154721041 : Ani!Bluestreak and Blurr, posing for the camera. I'm not posting the link to "Surprise Photo Shoot!" because I'm lazy and you're all fully capable of browsing. It's just a little oekaki anyways. http:///gallery/#/d2l81nj :digital version of Smile. Not my best effort ever- couldn't be bothered to redo all the lines. http:///gallery/#/d2ghb1o :Ani!Blue sketches http:///gallery/#/d2f5ph5 :psha, I did it anyways. This would be Surprise Photo Shoot. Dude, we have a Coming Soon section! Okay, so due to the catastrophic failure of my hard-drive, I have lost... oh god, years worth of writing. Now, I may not write all that much, but it was still a lot. Most of those stories I will probably never finish now. It's left me quite sad over the whole issue. That said, I don't think I'll give up writing whole-sale. Again, I draw more then I write, but I will still post the occasional odds and ends. A note on Head Cases (Read: Paranoia - I got a review recently which sent me to thinking. I could not reply personally, as the review did not have a reply address, but I thought the question interesting, and did some thinking. Basically, the review said something like this: but a question then wouldn't Optimus Prime become a headcase It took me an hour or two to figure out which episode they were talking about. I spent a good part of twenty minutes trying to think of when Primal had gotten shot like that (smart cookie, I am not, apparently). It eventually occurred to me that it was PRIME and not PRIMAL that was being referred to. After that, we actually start to get into the good stuff. My first thought was that time has passed from G1 to Beast Wars. Perhaps the Maximals have uncovered some new technology to prevent it. Perhaps luck was on Prime's side, and not all the right components were hit (not unlikely, considering how darned lucky the mech is). Perhaps he actually is a head case, and that's why he's so freaking moral one episode (we can't cut down the trees! That's a Decepticon thing to do) and not quite so much the next (It's just a couple of trees. Saving the world is kind of more important). Or perhaps, and this is the most likely scenario, Prime just isn't UNlucky. What I mean by that is that Head Cases are rare. Red Alert is insanely unlucky. The chances of Prime becoming a Head Case from that shot were a million to one at best. If every mech that was shot in the head became a Head Case, it would be easier to count which ones weren't Head Cases. Note: The head doesn't have to be shot off to become a Head Case. It raises the chances, but an extremely unlucky mech could theoretically become a head case from nothing more than a dent. So I hope that was helpful, or at least mildly informative. I like questions like that. Good fun to think up stuff like this Paranoia-verse: So Paranoia-verse has gotten big enough to put together a list. What is Paranoia-verse? PV is what happened after I wrote the fic called Paranoia (duh). It spiraled from there as I found all the possibilities that came with that particular plot-bunny. Like everything else in my list, it doesn't get updated very often, but I'm pretty much constantly expounding on it in my head. Some of it's fics are scheduled for rewrite. The order in which they were written: Paranoia: This is where it all started, with me making a rather poor attempt at defending Red Alert's sanity, because everyone constantly over exaggerates his 'glitch'. I didn't get very far before I had a general concept of what Head Cases were, and my defense of Red was more or less abandoned in favor of the fic. I tried very hard to stay within cartoon continuity. Illusions: This followed relatively closely on the heels of Paranoia. I wanted to see exactly what happened to Red Alert, and I wanted to know who it was that fixed him (Ratchet can't be all over Cybertron, no matter how much in fanfics he just pops up whenever he's needed. Sometimes it's believable. Sometimes it isn't). I had a general idea of Wireweaver's character, but I wish I had gotten it a little firmer in my head before writing. Still mostly within continuity, but tenuous. Here and Gone Again: This is pending minor rewrite, mostly because of Wireweaver. It really doesn't feel like the same character at all between this story and the last one. This oneshot was mostly to see how Red Alert and Inferno lost their medic, and expounded on the two characters that were mentioned to have been with said medic. It seemed like kind of a pointless, filler story at the time, except it's now led up to Autobot Gunpowder: The most recent addition follows Gunpowder after he's found, four million-ish years later. Gunpowder has always been one of my favorite OC's, so I feel bad that even when I do give him a spotlight, he's being haunted by the loss of Blacklight. I dropped all sense of continuity at this point, as the bunny has its own ideas. Auto Berserk(Pending): This is a free-time project (it's never going to get done) that skims over the G1 episode. Nothing actually shown in the episode changes, but everything relevant to Paranoia-verse affects their thoughts, and in-fic, their actions. It fits together quite nicely actually, which probably is why I'm so fond of this fan-verse. (Pending): Not named yet, but (eventually) this story will follow up on Commtech and his squad, who were very briefly mentioned in Illusions. Commtech would be one of my favorite OC's, but, well... you'll see. -September something-or-other, 09- Ahaha, I've finally gone and deleted The Red Walled Building. That took far too long. A mean, seriously, I think I started writing that when I was eleven. Inside the Game or Here on Out are slated for next 'deleted because of oldness', but like RWB, it'll probably take a while. Although, admittedly, I'm fond enough of ItG that it may get rewritten instead. All depends. In other news, I'm back in a writing mood, which means I've actually worked on Snake Eyes Plus One, that TF multiverse fic I started putting together two years ago (eight thousand words and counting. That sounds pathetic until you realise I never write more than a thousand or so words per story). I've been avoiding my AU that I haven't named yet due to unforeseen complications. Also did a bit on Fractal, a Kingdom Hearts verse ficlet I may put up for adoption. I like it, but I don't know what I'm doing with it. We'll see. As usual, don't expect updates because everything gets put on hold when faced with art (or in some cases, my job). -November '10- So between moving out, job hunting, and attaining a job, there really hasn't been a whole lot of activity around here. At all really. I was fully intending to get back to writing stuff that I said I would, but... Well, then BBS came out. I've been in a thouroughly KH mood since. I do apologize, as I did promise follow up with stuff for Clouds Above. If it's any consolation, I do intend to follow up on that eventually. Just... not right now. Living on my own has been an adventure, to say the least. I'm only just getting back into fandom things now- and we all know how long it takes me write things. I am sorry about that, but it's just one of those things. Hobby, not Job, sort of thing. |
