Transformers! More Then Meets The Eye!

Thank you for writing this character. Al-Sharif very much mirrors a friend who also saw some nasty repercussions from 9/11 just for being a brown skinned, dark eyed, dark haired Muslim American, from people who decided to forget overnight that she and her family had lived here for almost three decades, since she was a baby. It gave her a better awareness of prejudice and got her involved in overall social equality education and dialogue. There are plenty more people who can tell the same story as hers.

I really like Al Sharif, I'm looking forward to when you continue this. I like reading things from his perspective. I wonder what his reaction was when Sam used his idea of them being djinn, in that meeting. Would he feel, proud, embarrassed, upset, or even angry. I'm sure it will take a while to finish this since you're working with a religion unfamiliar to you, but I'm still looking forward to it, no matter how long it takes.

Al-Sharif is my favourite OC character in your stories! 〜（ゝ。）

I have to say, even if I hadn't read (and thoroughly enjoyed) Kinship, the Daily Buzz, and the Ties that Bind, I would have loved this story. The Muslim perspective was actually done in a way that was both respectful and frankly cool. I never would have connected the Djinn with Cybertronians, but now I don't think I can ever separate the two in my mind. This character's take on the series is fascinating. Please keep this going. Its nice to have a spiritual person portrayed in fiction that defies stereotype.

I'm very, very interested in this fic. Will definitely be following it closely.

While there's much of Muslim culture I don't understand, and some things I would never accept (begining by their treatment of women...I'm not exactly a feminist, but I like my freedom very much, thank you). Still, this character provides a hugely different point of view for everything that's going on. Can't wait to see what his point of view on everything yet to come might be.

Maybe at some point he'll learn how exactly Sam met the Autobots, why they all treat each other like that (not necessarily the part of Prime, there's a lot they can talk about, of what happened in 2007, and even some of the things that happened before Egypt...)

I hadn't realized I hadn't reviewed this chapter before, But I did read it a while ago. I do love this story and your other 'introduction' ones. I just love reading about how outsiders view Sam's familiarity with the Autobots, and how confused they are about how he can be so comfortable with them. Update soon please

I have been an avid reader of for YEARS - and at times I had the inclination to review a story, but I never bothered to open an account until now, because I really needed to say this to you: Thank you Thank you THANK YOU!

Thank you for putting a Muslim in a story on . This is the first time I have EVER read a story with a normal Muslim in it, who isn't some Bedouin from the desert or a terrorist. THANK YOU! You have NO IDEA how much it means to me that someone who is not a Muslim and perhaps, knew nothing about Islam, actually made the effort and - I just don't know how to describe the happiness I'm feeling.

The way you wrote his character is so- real! I love the way you depicted him in his own Introduction story because I can absolutely relate to him. It's amazing! I laughed at some of his thoughts because they are probably EXACTLY how I would've reacted or thought if I was in his position.

I love Transformers. I love Kinship and The Ties that Bind!

Keep up the great work, and thanks for keeping an open mind.
