Author has written 28 stories for Transformers, Labyrinth, A Monster in Paris/Un monstre à Paris, Yu-Gi-Oh, and My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア. Hi! I've been on this website for a long while, so I've got a pretty distinct display of the development of my writing style. I can't say I'd call my earlier works well written or even good, but I will say that they were important for the development of my writing abilities. I do hereby swear to finish every story I publish on here, even if it takes years to complete. At this point in time, I only publish new stories when I'm certain I can finish them in a timely fashion; this usually means that the story is already finished or nearly finished in my own archives on my computer. As for older stories that haven't been touched in years, I'll get there. I haven't really gotten vested in FanFiction in a long time. I've been writing pretty much constantly for over ten years, but I haven't read new stuff in a long time. Now probably isn't the best time for me to turn a new leaf because I'm in an intensive senior year at university, but honestly I don't care. I follow my whims, and I haven't been disappointed at returning so far. About My Writing -I enjoy true connections between people, typically platonic. A romantic relationship is good, IMO, if it's not the main point. My stories typically focus around two (rarely more) characters that mean a lot to each other. Honestly, romance is a cop-out for me and it shorthands a lot of other emotions that can create deep bonds. If I write a romantic relationship, it's more implicit and it probably can be read as non-romantic anyway. -There are a lot of fandoms I love. Some of them, I love the fandom more than the cannon, so sometimes I imply my own version of the cannon. An example of this would be Transformers; I hate what Michael Bay has done to them, but I like the concepts he's outlined in the movies. Point being, however, I go through phases of which fandom I'm attached to, so expect FF of similar fandoms kind to be published/updated around the same time. -I will usually write in the first person point of view. I really like the subjective view it gives a story. -I have at least two hundred documents on my computer dedicated to fanfiction. A large portion of these stories will never see fruit as they are old, small, and aimless. Many of them, from a larger variety of fandoms than I have published here, I write and cherish as the mood hits me. These stories get just as much attention as the ones published here, so if I haven't updated in a while, just assume I'm working on a different story that will eventually be published here when I'm confident enough in it. Not My Writing -Mary Sue/Gary Stew. I don't imagine most people like them, but my dislike for them is strong enough that any story with an OC playing a big role in the story I have large reservations about. Sometimes I do like it, but I take convincing to give it a chance. I use recurring OCs in my stories, but they are always minor characters or they are insignificant to the canon characters. (If you have a story with an OC you think is done really well and doesn't steal cannon characters' thunder, feel free to PM me.) -Romantic relationships that spoil the plot. I can respect that some people want to kiss, but that better not be the point of or end of the well-written shenanigans that I've just dedicated time to. So, typically, a romantic relationship will never take center stage in my stories. -Main character death for shock. I can tell you right now, I will cry. If a character's death is imperative to the plot but the purpose isn't purely for making me cry, I might be okay with it. About Me Gender: Female Age: 20s Likes: dogs, waistcoats, physics, astronomy, writing, plot, character development, grey morality characters, and sometimes my cat Dislikes: the crippling anxiety that comes with college, beef, and my own shortcomings Favorite Color: brown (like chocolate, wood, or brunette hair), or purple (hexadecimal: 800AEC) Why I'm here: I'm here because I am constantly writing stories, original and FanFiction, and I thought I'd share some of my favorites. This place is a great community to share emotions in the form of plot with other people, and to foster your own creativity. Right now, I'm working on a book - as I'm sure lots of other people here are - and I hope to get it finished some day. A lot of the times, the stories I write here are character studies for character flaws, abilities, and reactions to certain stimuli. I won't ramble on about that book here, but when I make progress, I'll likely mention it in ANs. I, Well of Allsparks, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, popularity, or anything else.
