Random anon chapter 1 . 4/9/2019 OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD? I LOVE! THIS IS THE FIC I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR! |
GenderBender25 chapter 1 . 6/21/2014 Yaye, i was looking for a crossove. It is my personal headcannon that when Alfred showed this movie to Arthur it gave him nightmares. . I think you clashed the two together nicely. |
CactusNoir chapter 1 . 9/18/2012 That was awesome. |
Fuzzy chapter 1 . 8/8/2012 You've done an excellent job on merging these two worlds together. It's raw and my head is spinning from reading it, I'm very happy that someone else might have made a similar connection to the movie/graphic novel and it's all very seamlessly written. What we just witnessed was the whole scenario and plot of V in Arthur's mind, which is actually quite well done, I sort of have to step back and just try to remember it. Honestly it made me tear up a little, I sincerely applaud your work, it's magnificent, and I love it to bits. Thank you for writing this! |
thewiseferret chapter 1 . 1/22/2012 Well this is the first hetalia fan fic I've read, and you know what? It's bloody good. The two worlds are very well meshed, although I had trouble working out whether it was the comic V or the movie V until the end. This is a very good, emotive and very *British* piece of writing. I feel like I should go through and pick out all the exceptional pieces of description or heart-wrenching lines (or hell even the occasional typo), I wish I could give you a fuller review because I think this deserves one. (On the other hand if I don't do my research now I may lose my eyebrows in the lab tomorrow- I hope you understand.) This is a very good piece. Thank you for sharing it. |
Alistine chapter 1 . 10/19/2011 Oh, my... I am literally speechless. First of all, just the plot itself is brilliant. Imagining what England himself went through during the Norsefire reign...you managed to seamlessly combine two of the most incredible (stories? Movies? Tales? Epics? Choose one) that I have ever discovered. Hetalia is effortlessly addicting, while V for Vendetta is, well, life-changing. And when you put them together... My god. God, Arthur...I wanted to comfort him, tear out Creedy's throat all over again, I raged over Larkhill and laughed at the ridiculously cruel irony of the whole situation (how can a nation be a traitor to their own nation, to their own self?) and wept for V with his bulletproof soul. And the voice of the people, when he returned to the surface, and his citizens cheered for him...I cheered along with them. I lived this story. I was Arthur, I was V, I was the commander with the bullhorn that didn't dare to disobey his (resurrected? Where has he been?) Nation. I don't think I have ever been so deeply affected by a fanfic. Are you aware that this is listed as a recommended fic on tv tropes? Amazing. Incredible. Absolutely astonishing, heart-rending, upliftingly beautiful. I salute you. Thank you for writing this masterpiece. |
0ptimuspenguin chapter 1 . 8/26/2011 Ooooh, I really, really liked it. Very believable and very IC, and your writing style is wonderful, too. :) |
Dadaiiro chapter 1 . 3/28/2011 I loved it! Every part of it. It was just poetic. |
Sushi Sensei chapter 1 . 3/24/2011 cool (: i dont actually know what v for vendetta is but now i wanna watch it XDDDD |
Silent Pandemonium chapter 1 . 3/20/2011 Without a doubt the most beautiful fanfic I've ever read, chapeau. |
SlightlyScary chapter 1 . 3/2/2011 I loved it. Especially the last line... Very well written. |
kakita101 chapter 1 . 12/20/2010 Hmmm, this actually makes sense. I mean, it would seem like Sutler and Creedy would do that to England. I thought that the people didnt know about the fact that England was their Nation. Anyways, I wouldnt mind reading what all the other Nations thought about what was happening during this time. |
070 chapter 1 . 11/20/2010 Aw, this was FANTASTIC. The way you wrote it was so great - I think you could have easily "over"-written it, so to speak, but you definitely didn't. Everything flowed so well, and my gosh, I felt SO bad for England. This entire thing makes me want to watch V for Vendetta again XD WAH. AGAIN, THIS WAS FANTASTIC. Stories like these always make me hunger for a sequel XD |
surxi25 chapter 1 . 11/7/2010 This was great. The way you managed to get Arthur into the mix, even when he was locked away, was excellent. I really liked how you wrote all the evil deeds of the government as physical consequences on his body. Great job :) |
wisecurledqueen chapter 1 . 10/23/2010 Wonderful piece. You easily meshed two worlds together, and man was it awesome. Thanks so much! Loved it! -curledruler |
