That ending killed me ;-;

Just read this again after the remake and it still hurts :(

I know this is an old story, but AW MAN. That just hit me right in the heart!
Kunsel is a true friend till the very end and that ending though. But ahhh that hurts to have Cloud messaging but no response. T.T
you did a good job here though!

Thank you for this wonderful story. I think Kunsel is an interesting character to have in any fandom work and I really enjoyed your portrayal of him in your story (despite not being physically present, I thought that the messages were very well written in not only establishing his personality but also setting the tone/mood during certain events). I really liked the interaction between Cloud and Kunsel, and how it developed as the plot progressed. My favorite part has to be the end-the build up (the support from Kunsel, the slow acceptance from Cloud, and the promise to meet) made the ending all the more powerful/impactful. I think you've set the bar for me on Kunsel's potential in fanfic and makes me want to look for more stories with him in it. Again, thank you for this wonderful story and I'll be sure to come back in the future to read it again!
