Beautiful. But sad. I don’t like to think about the future of Shadow, because I know his story is the most depressing. He’s my favorite character...maybe someday I’ll write a fanfiction where he loses his immortality somehow. Then he wouldnt have to be alone...

Words cannot explain how bittersweet it was to read this... Shadow is my favorite character and I'm glad he could go out like this. Very poetically written. It touched me deeply. I'm smiling as I'm almost in tears right now.

You said the Doctor and I suddenly think OH MY GOSH IT'S A DOCTOR WHO CROSSOVER, but then I kept reading...

Thank you for writing this. It's nice to know that Shadow finally got an end. It's horrible to think of him living forever while everyone he got close to died. I love how Sonic went out a hero and Amy never stopped believing that he'd come back. And Tails being the reason for he next scientific revolution if perfect. Rouge and Knuckles, nice touches. I wouldn't have written it any other way.

Shadow's death was... heart-warming, bittersweet, heart-breaking, poetic, beautiful, and just as amazing and sad as he is. This one is going into my favorite selections and now I'm going to find something so much happier to read. This was beautiful, yes, but as said before, it's heartbreaking. Thank you again for writing it. It was such an amazing read.
