![]() Author has written 15 stories for Transformers, and Transformers/Beast Wars. Welcome to my profile page. I am not really into posting biographies of myself online, and I'm not going to change that trait now. In case you are wondering, yes the profile picture is mine, drawn and colored by me. No, I do not have a particular 'thing' for unicorns, in fact I can't actually say why I made it a unicorn except that I sat down to draw something to replace the picture I had up here initially and this is what happened. Anyway, some important things to know about my work... Please note: I do NOT write Slash. Period. If you read something I have written and it 'seems' like slash I will just kindly ask that everyone's minds stay clear of the gutter. Also, I tend to avoid excessive profanity (human profanity, at least). Yes, I will write action and action-related violence, but do not expect gory messes. I don't like to have to clean them up, so I don't write them that detailed. Here is a key for all of my stories (I may add to it as the need arrises): Itallics = thoughts "Quotations" = Spoken english unless otherwise noted (unless it is a story with no humans, in which case it is Cybertronian.) /Itallics/ = Bot communication over Comm System. Emotions conveyed as in spoken communication Itallic = Bot communication over a Bond regardless of what type of Bond it is. Emotion clearly conveyed. Could also be communication through a hard-line synch :Plain: = Electronically transmitted Cyertronian. More like a text message in my little universe: the entire message is transmitted instantaneously rather than just a silent form of communication like the comm system. Emotions not easily conveyed (as in text messages for us mere humans.) What's Coming (Or has been...) Turning Points: My vision of the origins of one of my favorite TF characters: Prowl. He was created to be one of the greatest tacticians Cybertron has ever seen. He was destined to become Second in Command of the Autobots; a friend, tactical advisor and confidant to Optimus Prime. Every story, every life, is made up of a series of turning points that set the course for the future. Prowl's journey from Lead Decepticon Tactician to Autobot SIC is no different. Rated T for difficult themes. (In Progress, frequent updates) Various Side Stories to Turning Points: All stories will be within the Turning Points Fanverse, whether they take place before, during or after their parent story. Included in this category are: "Field Trip", "Impressions", "Consequences", and "Shadow Games". Applicable stories will be added here as the muse hits and as decided otherwise. If you have read the Turning Points universe and have a request, feel free to PM me with your idea. I cannot guarantee I will write every idea presented (due to the constraints of real life) but you never know... First Arrival: When I first saw TF1 I had absolutely NO background with Transformers what so ever. I was hooked. But when I read the novelization of that movie, I was a little disappointed that it focused so much on the human perspective. I wanted more Bots! So I decided that I would work on the story from that direction. This is a re-telling of TF1 entirely from the 'Bots POV with a little AU to fill in the gaps and round out the story. Rated T just in case (action and battle sequences)... the movie was PG 13 after all. (In progress, sporadic updates) Lone Star Landing: Tailgate (OC), Autobot scout, scientist and field medic, receives Optimus' transmission (TF1) and makes his way to Earth. However, severely damaged by the Decepticons he discovers in orbit around Jupiter he is forced to make an emergency landing in the first place he locates that is relatively close to the Autobots' signal: The rolling plains of Texas. He meets veteran and trauma nurse, Gloria Richardson (OC) and, if they can learn to trust one another, they have to find Optimus and NEST and inform them about the Decepticon's newest plans. Takes place between TF1 and ROTF. (On Hold) More Than a Guardian: Sam and Bumblebee have been through a lot together; trials and tribulations, heartache and pain. After Mikaela's infidelity Sam is particularly distraught. A bond forms between them, but it is a bond that could get both into trouble. Not a slash paring. Got the idea from Stephbee for a Pet-bond. This is just my exploration of the idea. Short, sweet and AU to my own AU. Rated T just in case. (In Progress, slow, sporadic updates) Proving Ground: Takes place only months following TF1. The humans may have helped take out some of the Cons in Mission City, but they are still far to fragile and far to inexperienced to be much help in fighting the Decepticons on Earth. Or are they? Humans and Autobots may officially be allies, but can the humans prove they are worthy opponents on the battlefield as well? Just a light-hearted, fun read. Rated K (Complete) Proving Ground Redux: Takes place after Proving Ground. Prowl, Hound, Bluestreak and Mirage have arrived on Earth and are trying to integrate into NEST. It is not easy for any of them to accept the fact that humans are considered active combatants by the Autobots already on Earth. It is up to Lennox and his team to prove once again that they are up to the challenge. Like its prequel, it is just a fun, light-hearted read. Rated K. (Complete) Riptide: What I call a progressive character study on Prowl. Perhaps a tribute to Prowl. Chapters are not necessarily sequential. Prowl is a character with many facets, in some ways he is one of the more complex characters in the cannon (of course, that might be because he is my favorite :D) Will likely become a collection of one-shots dedicated to studying Prowl's character when said studies don't fit into anything else written. (In Progress, sporadic updates) Ideas for Future Stories (Not sure when/if I will ever get to them…) Proving Ground Contingency: Sequel to Proving Ground Redux. The femmes have arrived on earth and while the mechs might have been easily convinced it is safe and beneficial to allow the humans to participate in their war, the femmes won't be so easily swayed. The premise is different than the first two, as is the method of the contest, so don't think it will just be a remake of what has come before. Paradox: A cross-over between my two favorite fandoms: Transformers and Stargate SG, may be considered a prequel to TF1. A freak accident with the stargate sends SG1 to Cybertron before the AllSpark was sent into space. These minuscule organic aliens are not exactly what the Autobots expect. Not AU to TF1... not really AU to Stargate SG1 either for that matter, though perhaps a little. |
