![]() Author has written 7 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Harry Potter, and White Collar. Hi! My name is Mezzem. It really isn't my name, but it is sort of a nickname... Anyway, a little bit about me: 5 Things About Me: 1. I am a book freak. I absolutely LOVE books!! Random things that people say will remind me of a quote in a book. People describe me as a walking book (sometimes they mean it as an insult, but I always take it as a compliment ;) ). 2. I love the color blue. Blue is the color of the sky and the sea, which both seem so deep and limitless... 3. I like potatoes and chocolate. 4. I have three siblings, including a little brother who is now taller than me (and I'm not short!). I also have two dogs and sixteen chickens. 5. I'm a Chemistry Ph.D. graduate student. I took my OWLS on MuggleNet and here are my results: O.W.L. Results These are your O.W.L. results including the test you have just taken: Ancient Runes: Poor Defense Against the Dark Arts: Acceptable Herbology: Exceeds Expectations Transfiguration: Acceptable Charms: Acceptable Potions: Acceptable History of Magic: Dreadful Arithmancy: Acceptable Astronomy: Acceptable Magical Creatures: Poor Muggle Studies: Acceptable Divination: Acceptable Ministry of Magic O.W.L. Ravenclaw students tend to be clever, witty, intelligent, and knowledgeable. The sorting hat also said that I would do well in Slytherin. The Percy Jackson pledge: I promise to remember Percy whenever I’m at sea I promise to remember Annabeth whenever a spider comes at me I promise to protect nature for Grover's sake of course I promise to remember Luke when my heart fills with remorse I promise to remember Chiron whenever I see a sign that says ''free pony ride'' I promise to remember Tyson whenever a friend says they'll stick by my side I promise to remember Thalia whenever a friend is scared of heights I promise to remember Clarisse whenever I see someone that gives me a fright I promise to remember Bianca whenever I see a sister scold her younger brother I promise to remember Nico whenever I see someone who doesn’t get along with others I promise to remember Zoë whenever I watch the stars I promise to remember Rachel whenever a limo passes my car. Yes I promise to remember PJO wherever I may go. You Know You're a Book Addict If: -You can randomly open to a page and know exactly what's going on. (Absolutely!) -Read the book until 4 A.M., then get back up at 7 to continue reading. (Yup!) -You write fanfictions about the book. (Isn't that what this website is for?) -You try to get all of your friends (and everyone else) to read your favorite books. (Of course!) -You accidentally call everyone by the character's names. (occasionally) -Everything reminds you of the book. (yes) -You quote random lines all the time. (Yup, and it really annoys the people around me :)) -You try to do things that the characters do, even though you know you can't. (Yep. MAGIC!!!) -You've gotten incredibly bored in class, and debated on doing something your favorite character would do to escape the class. (think Weasley twins) -You have pictures of your favorite characters on your iPod. (Yup.) -You've got a book memorized. (pretty much) -You've read a book more than five times. (definitely more) -You've read a book with 400 pages in less than two days. (less than one day if the book is really good) -You've planned and prepared a siege on a writer's house because he/she killed a character you like. (No, I am not a creepy stalker.) -You've plotted to murder a character and steal his/her boyfriend/girlfriend. (NO! I wouldn't murder a character to steal her boyfriend! Anyway, I only think that couples look good when they're both from the book. I can't imagine those people with anyone else.) -You hate it when someone calls your favorite character fictional. (DUH!!!) -You blatantly deny it when someone calls a character fictional. (Who doesn't?) -Your idol is a character from a book. (Rick Riordan! Annabeth! Weasley twins! Remus Lupin, etc., etc.) -Most of the things you lose wind up in the library. (Not at my school) -Even the library checkout ladies know you by your first and last name. (Yes) -The librarian and the library check out ladies know all of your friends, even the ones who never come into the library! (Nope, don't think so) -You (and possibly your friends) are the librarian's favorite. (I have no idea) I am a book addict and proud of it!!! If you are one too, copy and paste this on your profile. If you have ever been called a bookworm and are proud of it, copy and paste this into your profile If you're a person who acts friendly, but has an evil mind and is secretly plotting world domination, copy and paste this on your profile. You say I'm not cool. But cool is another word for cold. If I'm not cold, I'm hot. I know I'm hot. Thanks for embracing it. REASONS TO JOIN THE DARK SIDE (If you wish to join add this list to your profile): 1. We have cookies (last I checked there was hot chocolate, marshmallows, and ice cream too) 2. Meet the recruitment bunny!(YEAH!!) 3. You get a cool dark cape that covers your whole body!(I always wanted one! Finaly, a dream come true!) 4. You get a really cool crazy laugh! Practice with me, people: MWA HAHAHAHA cough cough!(hairball) 5. You get to walk out of shadows mysteriously and freak out the good guys! 6. One word: UNDERLINGS! Someone to get things for you when you're too lazy to do them yourself... Now that's the life! 7. Money, Money, Money : Ever notice that we are usually much richer than the good guys? 8. WORLD DOMINATION! Most PWNZORS reason!(done and done) When life gives you lemons make apple juice and let the world wonder how. "It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doensn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face." "A friend is someone you want to be around when you feel like being yourself" Barbara Burrow "A friend is someone who dances with you in the sunlight and walks with you in the shadows" "Best friends listen to what you don't say" Samantha Norman "Real friendship is the sharing of all the heart holds inside, its tears and laughter, its joys and broken dreams" "A real friend is someone who walks in when the rest of the world walks out" I understand that Scissors can beat Paper, and I get how Rock can beat Scissors, but there's no way Paper can beat Rock. Is Paper supposed to magically wrap around Rock leaving it immobile? If so, why can't paper do this to scissors? Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody, a rock would tear that crap up in two seconds. When I play rock/ paper/ scissors, I always choose rock. Then when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper I can punch them in the face with my ready made fist and say, "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought your paper would protect you." If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you. A wise man once said, "I don't know - go ask a woman." I am nobody. Nobody is perfect. Therefore I am perfect. It's always the last place you look for it... of course it is! Why would you keep looking if you found it? It takes 42 muscles to frown, 28 to smile, and 4 to reach out and slap someone. I'm not so good at advice; may I interest you in a sarcastic reply? Isn't Disney World just a people trap operated by a mouse? Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts make a right. The person who smiles when things go wrong has found someone to blame it on. There are three kinds of people. Those who learn by reading, a few who learn by observation, and the rest who have to test the electric fence for themselves. There are no stupid questions, just a lot of inquisitive idiots. Keep smiling; it makes people wonder what you're up to. Love your enemies. It gets them really confused. Silence is golden but duct tape is silver. If Fed ex and UPS merge, they would be called Fed UP. I am that girl, the one who likes books more than boys. The one who pretends not to be sad, just to make others happy. The one who always wonders what she did wrong. The one who writes to escape. The one who just wants to help. The one that really wants to make a difference. The one that sticks to her values. The one that refuses to believe that this is it. The one that will do anything to make a better tomorrow. I am the girl...that doesn't go to school dances, or games, and when I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book. I am the girl that people look through when I say something. I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. I am the girl that people call weird, and a freak either behind my back or to my face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on MySpace, or talking to a girlfriend on a cellphone or regular phone. I am the girl that hasn't been asked out in a year. I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain. But I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn't care if people call her weird (it's a compliment), who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who loves and is obsessed with nerdy things that only she would like, who can express herself better with writing than talking, and knows the importance of the little things in life that most overlook! Copy and paste if you can relate! |
