Author has written 13 stories for Harry Potter, Christy, and Outlander. 4/2016 This is mainly for the readers of my Christy fan fiction. I am getting an anon review from I think the same person that is quite nasty. Since this person has chosen to make themselves anonymous, probably because they are choosing to be nasty, I can't respond directly to them. I have been deleting the reviews mainly because they are not constructive, but the last review got out of hand. I am all for constructive criticism, but the purpose of fanfiction is to foster creativity. In fan fiction (and especially on this website), there are stories called AU stories (alternate universe). They are perfectly acceptable stories to post (i.e.: look at any fandom on this website and you will find them). The christy fan fiction page is not specifically just for fan fiction about Christy, it's for stories within the Christy sphere. That could include stories about Miss Alice, Bird's Eye, Neil where Christy is not necessarily the main character. See Harry Potter fan fiction...there are ALOT of fan fiction which the main focus is on a secondary character- Snape for instance. Draco for another. Voldemort. Hermione. Ron. This is widely accepted AND appropriate. So, please, just move on. Don't tell me I'm on the wrong page, because actually I am not. You don't have to be nasty. Just don't read. Christy is a book where the main character as a deep faith--that mirrored the author's deep faith. Let's respect what she valued- faith and kindness and treating others the way God would want them to be treated. And for everyone else, thank you for your continue support. We are in the middle of another move and I am starting to look for jobs to go back into teaching. Updates will probably be on the slower side, but not abandoned. More to come soon!! |
