there's so much that could come from this: we still need to see Talia and Bruce's next meeting, more interactions with the JL, Alfred seeing them again, plus I'm super curious what they do when they get back to Gotham; do they even try to have a normal alias or stay vigilantes the whole time? Do they get to know Gordon? Barbara? How does the next attack on them go? Do they ever clash with the Court of Owls? Don't think I missed that reference!

Me fascina que tenga relativamente pocos diálogos y muchos puntos de vista. No sé cuánto te tomó hacerlo, pero sin duda el resultado es asombroso.

A friend actually recommended this story so I gave it a shot. And wow, I'm super impressed :D I mean this story is mostly telling, which breaks like all the 'writing rules' (show don't tell) but there are some incredibly talented authors who can pull it off with lots of telling and you are definitely one of them :)

I really enjoyed the raw emotion Dick displayed when he came to the decision to not kill Zucco. I really felt his pain there and really connected with him as well. Having said that, this piece is pretty emotionally-heavy which is not really all that common here on FF. Also, you're very clever. Passing comments like the advice from the mentor about striving towards ideals are great philosophies to live your life by.

And the relationship between Dick and Bruce? Wow. The interplay between the two perfectly demonstrates Dick's vibrant character in comparison to Bruce's solemn nature and how that actually increases the chemistry between them; especially during the fights. My only regret is that there wasn't more conversations between Bruce and Dick because they were really good.

My only gripe then; is that sometimes I felt like the characters fell a little out of character with the league of shadows threat. Like he's batman; in the entirety of the comics he has never ran from the League of Shadows, and also he's always been the cleverest in the Justice League and yet, here he's more just a mercenary than a highly driven individual. That's a real personal gripe though; like it still works the way you've written it now.

And it ends on a full arc! I literally never find stories that end with a good character development arc and yet here there is one. The last line - 'almost able to believe again' - is an encompassing of the entirety of how much has changed. Through each other, the pain of their parents deaths are numbed by the end; first they were alone and now they are together; they started as rough working together and now work together in strong chemistry ... well done, I'm glad I spent the hour I did reading this story :)
