It would be interesting to see more of Bruce's reaction to this after Dick's brothers' confrontation with him...

At least there a tiny bit of light. Jason's POV put things in perspective since Dick keeps blanking out in his own flashbacks.

Aw brotherly attention...and mostly from Jason. Perfect mix here. Also can't help but wonder if Tim and Dami immediately moved to cuddle Jay.
Also very good reactionary fic...of which the DC universe doesn't do enough of unless its just very vaguely hinted (at least in my experience) or an outright fight...so its always good to have fanfic writers filling in some necessary 'healing' gaps that DC always miss.

I was thinking about this story one of these days (don't remember why exactly), and then... WE HAVE AN UPDATE!
Gee, I love Jason's point of view. Love it, love it.
Love how protective he can be of his siblings, even if he doesn't want to admit it.
Dick slowly letting his siblings take care of him is precious.
And now I love this story even more. xo

That would be frightening, to watch your brother try to choke himself while your younger brothers are standing behind you and relying on you to handle the situation. It was kind of funny how Jason referred to Dick's unconscious attacks as cat like with girly nails ;). I can see why Jason seemed kind of rough, but inside he was upset to see what was happening. That shield probably helps him to deal with things like this happening though. After having experienced death himself, he wouldn't be happy to know that one of his brothers had experienced it as well.

That was enlightening, it's one thing to see it from the PoV of the person going through it and it's another to see it through someone else's eyes. Interesting, especially since you chose Jason as your viewer rather than Damian or Tim. Really enjoyed this, thanks for adding the second chapter even if it wasn't originally intended. Bye!

I've been searching for post-Forever Evil fics dealing with Dick's (brief) death and I just want to thank you for writing and posting this, it's so great; there wasn't anything I didn't like about it. I love the way you wrote Dick's PTSD and the growing concern of his family and the brotherly bonding. You even added Midnighter!

That was amazing. The way you wrote Dick's stress and panic was basically tangible. And I'm so glad someone finally wrote a fic where Dick visibly deals with the trauma of the forever evil arc! That always frustrated me that he was completely fine after the event like it had never happened.

Omg thank you so much for this! This is all that I wanted. I wanted someone to acknowlege this and write about it. I have always pondered over Dick's temporary death and the side effects such as PTSD. And also, the bat bros reaction to it. It used to always pester me when Dick's death didn't matter because he technically didn't die and it was all a lie. Dick Grayson is my fav and so I do a lot of thinking when it concerns him haha. I liked the way you wrote this, and also the way you let the bat bros find out about it. It is very similar to my headcanon. Thank you for writing this and I hope I see more Batman fics from you :)
