I teach English in middle school; maybe that’s why I’m fearless when it comes to trying new things. I love to plumb the worlds that others built and add depth that they don't have time for. There is so much there to plumb and hey, I hear plumbers get paid more than teachers. I like to write Angsty Sam/ Strong Dean stories which is why I asked to join SFTCOL(AR)S, the Society for the Continuation of Limp (and Redeemed) Sam and they (gemnigrl11 and Faye) said yes (whee!). Anyways, I live with two furry children who cry meow and like to walk across the keyboard or sit on my shoulder as I write. I also live in the current Middle Ages of the SCA when I’m not at the gym or writing or reading.

One of my cats, Willow who passed away in March '09, actually was 'published' before I was. She won a contest to appear as a character in the Joe Grey mystery stories by Shirley Rousseau Murphy. Irony rules my life sometimes. I now have two new kittens: Sophie and Ellie.

After adding many purrs and laughs to my life, Heather, at 17 years and 9 months to the day, went to be with Willow in the wild clowder.

I just had to add Leverage to my list of worlds that I like to write in because there is such fertile ground there with the fascinating characters and the myriad possible situations that they can be put in. And, it has Christian Kane whose career I've followed since he was on "Angel."

Hawkeye is my favorite Avenger and I feel he doesn't get nearly enough screentime so hence the writing.

Finally, my current favorite is Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold. Gone too soon but not in my AU world.
