In the war between good and evil a Dragon of Fate tends to walk the fine line of Neutrality. Cody
Hometown: Littleroot Town
First Appearance: Chapter 1, "Meet Cody"
Accomplishments: Cody has earned 1 gym badge so far.

Cody is an 11 year old who has just recently started his journey. He knows a lot about pokemon due to his family all being trainers. He has yet to learn the real way journeys work.

Pokemon:
Prinplup
Prinplup is Cody's starter pokemon that he got from Prof. Rowan. Prinplup evolved from Piplup during Cody's first gym battle. It hasn't done it's little move when it comes out of it's pokeball again yet. Prinplup is Cody's powerhouse pokemon right now.

Evolved from Piplup in Chapter 8, "New Friend and a Gym Battle"

Luxio
Luxio is Cody's second pokemon he captured after leaving Sandgem. It was a small Shinx that wasn't the greatest in battles. Since it evolved it has become slightly stronger and can use Spark now.

Evolved from Shinx in Chapter 7, "Random Battles and Catching Pokemon"

Kadabra
Kadabra has just recently evolved from Abra. It evolved in its battle against Gardenia's Turtwig and was able to defeat it. It then lost to Gardenia's Cherrim. Kadabra is now able to use Confusion and isn't limited to Teleport and Hidden Power any longer.

Evolved in Chapter 15, "Exploring Chateau, 2nd Gym"

Scyther
Scyther was just captured in the most recent chapter. It was being attacked by a group of Murkrow and Cody saved it. It was injured and Cody rushed to help it. It gave him 2nd place in the bug-catching contest and the man who ran the contest decided to let Cody keep the Scyther. It has not been seen in battle.

Obtained in Chapter 14, "The Bug Catching Contest"

Piplup
Piplup is Cody's starter pokemon and helped Cody and Austin rescue the other starters from Team Galactic. It is a little childish, but pretty strong.

Shinx
Shinx was Cody's second pokemon that he caught after leaving Sandgem. It is not the greatest battler and lost easily against both Leslie's Turtwig and Jared's Geodude.

Evolved into Luxio in Chapter 7, "Random Battles and Catching Pokemon"

Abra
Abra is the most recent pokemon of Cody's. Like most Abra, it could only use Teleport. Cody tried his luck and tossed a pokeball at it without attacking and, to Leslie's surprise, caught it. Abra was later used in Cody's gym battle and easily beat Roark's Geodude with a Hidden Power that Cody had taught it beforehand.

Leslie
Hometown: Sandgem Town
First Appearance: Chapter 3, "Enter Leslie"
Accomplishments: Leslie has earned 2 ribbons so far.

Leslie is an eleven-year old girl that has just started her journey to become a top coordinator. Leslie first appeared at a pokemon center that Cody had came to. Cody was going to ask her a question, but she was asleep. He was about to leave when her Turtwig attacked him. She told him that Turtwig was protective of her. They soon had a conversation, a battle, and finally decided to travel together.

Pokemon:
Grotle
Grotle evolved from Turtwig just recently. It apparently evolved during a battle with a Team Galactic grunt. Not much is really known about Grotle yet, but more than likely it will be Leslie's powerhouse and will be used in the upcoming contest.

Evolved from Turtwig in Chapter 12, "Battle at the Windworks!"

Kricketune
Kricketune is another of Leslie's pokemon. After evovling from Kricketot in a contest, it has learned how to use more moves like Sing, which Leslie uses often. It has not been seen in battle since the contest.

Evolved from Kricketot in Chapter 6, "Leslie's Contest Debut"

Zubat
Zubat is the second pokemon Leslie caught after joining Cody. Leslie mainly caught Zubat because it slammed straight into her face on the way to Oreburgh City. Kricketune was used to put it asleep, but ended up putting Cody to sleep as well, to Leslie's dismay. Zubat has not yet been seen in battle.

Psyduck
Psyduck is the most recent pokemon Leslie obtained in the story. Psyduck decided to join Leslie after she protected it from a Water Gun used by a Floatzel that was bullying it. Leslie agreed to let Psyduck join her team after they helped them. Psyduck has not been in battle yet.

Kricketot
Kricketot was the second pokemon that Leslie used in the battle against Cody. It only knows the Bide attack and was defeated by Cody's Shinx before it could finish charging. Kricketot was then used in the first contest and evolved while fighting against Kristin's Burmy.

Turtwig
Turtwig is Leslie's first pokemon. Turtwig is shiny and has four leaves on it's head and wears a scarf. Turtwig is very protective of Leslie and attacked Cody when they first met. It is one of Leslie's strongest pokemon and can hold its own in battles. Turtwig was used as the first entrant pokemon in Leslie's first contest.

Hometown: Eterna City
First Appearance: Chapter 11, "Floaroma Flowers and Team Galactic!"

Rai is a 12 year old pokemon trainer who worked at the flower shop in Floaroma. He helped out Cody and Leslie in the battle against Team Galactic. After Leslie's second contest, Rai decided to travel with Cody and Leslie and continue with his journey.

Pokemon:
Croagunk
Croagunk is the first pokemon Rai used in battle when he first appeared. It easily defeated Tank's Bibarel and Jason's Stunky when Rai helped Cody and Leslie save the Honey Man.

Buizel
Buizel is the second pokemon seen of Rai's. It has been used in the battle against Team Galactic Grunts and also helped capture a Dustox in the bug-catching contest, gaining him 3rd place.

Budew
Budew was only seen for a short while when Rai was training with Cody. It was also seen shortly when the gang stopped to rest before reaching Eterna Forest and the bug-catching contest.

Accomplishments: Jared supposedly has one badge.

Jared is also 11 years old. He was first seen bumping into Leslie on there way into the poketch company. Jared was then seen later at the pokemon center and challenged Cody to a battle, the outcome being a tie.

Pokemon:
Monferno
Monferno has evolved from Chimchar through training. When we first see it, it easily takes out a grunts Bronzor and Glameow. During the battle against Mars, it was hurt a good bit, but eventually combined its Fire Spin with Prinplup's Bubblebeam to take out Mars' Purugly.

Evolved from Chimchar prior to Chapter 12, "Battle at the Windworks!"

Geodude
Geodude is the other pokemon Jared used in the battle against Cody. Geodude easily took out Cody's Shinx, but easily fell to Cody's Piplup.

Marill
Marill is Jared's water type. It was mentioned earlier from a trainer named Shane that Cody and Leslie met. It was seen only shortly in battle, being knocked out by a grunts Glameow.

Chimchar is apparently Jared's starter pokemon. Chimchar was used against Cody's Piplup and ended up having a tie with it. Chimchar is probably the strongest of Jared's pokmon and knows Ember.

Kristin is an 11 year old girl that is trying to become a top coordinator. She has been seen twice so far. The first time was in the first contest while the second was at the Floaroma contest hall. She lost to Leslie in the first contest.

Cherubi was only seen when Cody heard the crowd cheer. From what was seen, it does very well in contests.

Mothim
Mothim has evolved from Burmy through training. Mothim wasn't seen in a full battle so not much is known about it. It has probably gained more attacks through evolution and will be used in contests.

Jack is a 12 year old coordinator that Leslie faced off against in her first contest. Jack ened up losing in that contest, and the second contest that he faced Leslie in. He is a cheater that tried to make Leslie mess up in her second contest and seeks revenge on her.

Pikachu was the first pokemon of Jack's seen. He used it in his contest battle against Leslie. He ended up losing quickly.

Corphish
Corphish was used in the second contest that Jack faced Leslie in. During Leslie's appeal round, Corphish was used to mess Leslie up, but it failed to stop her. It then lost against Leslie's Grotle.
