![]() Author has written 3 stories for Pokémon. Yo. I obviously don't need to tell you that this is my profile. If there were five words to describe me, they would be: "lazy," "silly," "cynical," and "ferret." Okay, so four words, really. I am sorry to say, I seem to have fallen off of the fanfic-writing high road some couple of years ago. However, I do remain active on a few of the site's roleplay forums. Three things I pride myself on when it comes to writing in this regard are character depth, ingenuity, and above all, good verse in the lore and laws of whatever cannonical fandoms I throw myself into. Anybody who knows me well can accredit how thoroughly I will push myself to carefully avoid the bounds of Suedom, cookie-cutter writings, or careless neglect of a fandom's storyline history or rules. Perhaps it is because of this that I can't allow myself the privilege of letting myself have confidence in whatever serious fanfic ideas I may churn out. /shrug Currently my vocation consists of procrastinating through college, daily roleplaying, and sitting at home gobbling up spare time on World of Warcraft while I wait for a call back to any of my umpteen job applications. Surprise surprise, my current Bachelor's of Innovation in Game Design and Development technically falls within the Engineering department. S'quite a long leap from a few years ago when I saw myself heading into writing or philosophy or animation, but whatever. I'm happy to keep going with it and become a computer coding and programming nerd. (Gawd, the sound of that. NEEEERRRRRRRD-- *bricked*) Parting Words "We are all stupid, and we are all intelligent. The line dividing the stupid from the intelligent goes right down the middle of our heads." -Phillip Pullman "Fantasy remains a human right: we make in our measure and in our derivative mode, because we are made: and not only made, but made in the image and likeness of a Maker." -J.R.R. Tolkien "The mind that thought of light, heavy, grey, yellow, still, swift also conceived of magic that would make heavy things light and able to fly, turn grey lead into yellow gold, and the still rock into swift water. If it could do the one, it could do the other; it inevitably did both. When we have taken green from the grass, blue from heaven, and red from blood, we have already an enchanter's power." -J.R.R. Tolkien "Tell me, who are you, alone, yourself, and nameless?" -Tom Bombadil to Frodo Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger. For Pony, people. |
