Tick-Tock, goes the Clock, he cradled and he rocked her. Tick-Tock goes the Clock, even for the Doctor. Tick-Tock, goes the Clock, 'til River kills the Doctor. Current Favorite Quote: "Also," Danzo continued, planting his hands against the surface of the desk and leaning forward, "while I agree that a supervising mission for a Yamanaka four-year-old's birthday party that includes all sixteen of her little friends from preschool is a bloody nightmare, it doesn't require the use of my ANBU squad or judicious application of force as needed." He paused a moment, frowning, as if thinking of various four-year-old preschool girls that he may have met in the past. "Or at least it shouldn't, no matter how much ice-cream and cake is fed to those little monsters." Guys! TToNU has a TVTropes page now! It's a little bare, but it seems to have a proper page now! If I hadn't heard it again after who-knows how many years, I kinda doubt that the fic would have turned out as wacky as it did. As only a few of you know, I listen to music when I pen my fanfics; I just can't get in the mood for writing if appropriate music isn't there in the background. If a scene is sad, I listen to sad Naruto OSTs; if a scene is particularly action-y, I listen to those kind of Naruto OSTs. But I don't have very many 'wacky' songs in my library, so I'd kinda been in a slump when I first tried thinking of crackfic ideas. But then I rewatched a certain Teen Titans chase scene with Mad Mod, and, well... It was perfect, to say the least, the music playing in the background, I mean. I kinda question what the writers for the Teen Titans were thinking when they added in that song on a KIDS' show... 'cause if you look up the English lyrics... Wow. lol I'll let you research that on your own, if you're interested. I will admit, K2G is catchy, regardless of what it's actually saying. It's perfect for a crackfic, honestly. XD Favorite Lines: "Burn! Crumble! Fall to my furious flames! The Great Mr. Reus... will bring an end to you all! And now, for the final heir to the Gramarye name! Ooooh, they will suffer for this, detective. I'm encoding the virus right now..." - Riddler, Arkham Knight "No, they should obey me! Not you! I am their creator and their God! I literally programmed basic religion into those malfunctioning blasphemers." - Riddler, from Batman: Arkham Knight "Cheater! Swindler! CHARLATAN! The riddle wasn't ready, put it back! NOW." - Riddler, from Batman: Arkham Knight "They were ninja. Life was never meant to be fair, which was why you had to stab it in the back from the shadows, and kick it in the balls to make sure it stayed down." - Thoughts of Itachi Uchiha, from 'Yet, mad I am not', by Erisah Mae "The most invaded planet in the galaxy! Our capital city has a sign saying that if you occupied us, you'd be home by now!" - Prentis, Doctor Who episode Before the Flood "This... is the Fisher King! He and his armies enslaved Tivoli for ten glorious years before we were liberated by the Arcateenians! But! Thank the gods! Soon we'd irritated them so much they enslaved us, too! I can rip that confidence to shreds." - Souta Sarushiro/Simon Keyes, Ace Attorney Investigations 2 "You killed Captain Clown... You killed Captain Clown!!" Joker, Batman: The Animated Series Excerpt: Joker: I hate that song! *Gasp* Can it be?! Old Sallie "the Wheezer" Valestra! Welcome, paisan! Heh! It's been a dog's age! Salvatore: Hello, Joker. Didn't mean to drop by unannounced... Joker: Oh, Salvatore! Why so formal? Mi casa nostra es su casa nostra! *Shoves him into the rollercoaster cars.* So. What's an old-timer like you want with a two-timer like me? Salvatore: Business, I got... *holds up a briefcase* Joker: *Comically runs up to him and holds up his arms in celebration, rigidly* Oooh, business! Sounds like fun! *Grabs the man and tosses him into the first roller coaster car; the briefcase lands in the second one* Come, we'll prepare in a more comfortable environment! Now hold onto your hat, and watch the valuables *brings the seatbelt down hard on Valestra's lap* it's going to be a bumpy ride! Hehehehehe! *Gets in the same car as Valestra, ride starts* Wheeeeeee! - Batman: Mask of the Phantasm "Come. Have a seat, sir. Tell me what's on your so-called mind." - Joker, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm Excerpt: Joker: And to think our tax money goes to pay those jerks... *Grins as Arthur turns to him* Arthur: You! *Begins to run to phone* Joker: Hehehe! That's right, Artie! Bring in the Press, why don't you? What a photo-op! The councilman and his wacky pal! *Almost moves in for a hug* Arthur: *Narrows eyes* You're no friend of mine... Joker: *Wounded expression* Oh, Artie! I'm crushed! How the high and mighty forget! Don't you remember, you, me, Sallie and the Gang? *Sits in Arthur's office chair, props legs up on desk* Arthur: What are you talking about? I never met them or you. I worked for Beaumont. I didn't know what he was doing! Joker: *Tips hat upward with dagger* Oh, but you knew about it afterward, and put it to good use, eh? Hehehehe... Arthur: What do you want? Joker: *Stabs desk with dagger* To find out who's iced the whole Gang! Arthur: Haven't you read the papers? It's Batman! Joker: *Rings buzzer on hand* Bzzzt! Wrong! It ain't the Bat. Nope, nope, nope! I've SEEN the guy - he looks more like the Ghost of Christmas Future. Nowhere near as cute as Bat Boy. Arthur: *Raises eyebrow* You're saying it's someone else? Joker: *Cocks head to the side and grins manically* Yeah! Someone who wouldn't mind seeing our old pals out of the way... *Gasps and moves dramatically* And maybe... Gump, sob... me, too... *Grins* That's when I thought about you, Arturo! An important, upstanding guy like you might find it awkward if certain secrets were revealed about his past? *Nods* Arthur: *Takes a step back* Wait... You're not saying that I... Secretary: *through intercom* Mr. Reeves? Ms. Beaumont on the line. Joker: Beaumont? Not the babe? Oooh, you devil! *Grins and presses the button to let the call through* Andrea: Arthur... Arthur are you there? Arthur: Ah, hello Andrea... We're still on for lunch, right? Andrea: I'm sorry, I got hung up. I'll explain everything tonight over dinner, okay? Arthur: Um, uh... Alright, I'll... I'll see you then! Joker: *Hangs up call* Now ain't that a coinkidink? We're talking about the old man, and the spawn of his loins just happens to call! *Manhandles Arhtur and throws him on the desk* Makes you want to laugh, doesn't it Arturo? Hehehe... *Laughs maniacally* Batman: Mask of the Phantasm "I'm your only chance to get out of here! Let me go or we'll both die!" - Joker, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm "Okay... I give up. I surrendered already, tell her Batman." - Joker, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm "Don't play psychoanalyst with me, BOY..." Joker, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker "Party pooper... Ruining my fun. Papa spaaank!" Joker, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker "Oh, good... The beam's headed here! Now I'll have to start all over again! Thanks for wrecking everything, kid. See you around." Joker, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker "If even one doctor gets out of the medical building, then you won't. I'll just flood the rooms with Happy Gas. Come to think of it, I might do that anyway... Sounds fun." - Joker, Batman: Arkham Asylum "The Joker? Never heard of him. How 'bout you, doll? Know the Joker? ... And you, sir? Name Joker ring a bell? ... Can't... you just... play... along?!" Joker, posing as Black Mask, Batman: Arkham Origins "Where'd Sionis find these guys? Oh sure, they talk a big game, but put any of them in the old electric chair and they bawl like little girls. Trust me, I've done the research." Joker, Batman: Arkham Origins "Incredible. They really outdid themselves with this penthouse suite. The bathroom has three kinds of soap! I mean, who has time for all that cleaning!? I usually just hop into a vat of acid and call it a day!" "So. You've made it to the end of my little carnival ride. Unfortunately, you're supposed to be dead by now. Will you excuse me while I just go shoot the architect. Come here...you little..." Joker, Batman: Arkham Origins "'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a... Well, a Bat was stirring, but a few more blows to the head and he won't be anymore!" Joker, Batman: Arkham Origins "Why? Why? Why would you do that?! Newsflash: I'm the one who's trying to kill you!" Joker, Batman: Arkham Origins "I feel adrift - floating - like someone's pulled the stopper on my reality and I'm SUCKED down the drain into something new. It's all very exciting, really. ... It's like meeting someone I can actually relate to - which, believe me, dear, I've NEVER felt before. You understand. You're someone who's not afraid to let go and fall. Free falling. And I didn't pack a chute." Joker, Batman: Arkham Origins "So. What our friend Bane holds in his right hand is - a heart monitor. Once he clamps it on, every beat of his vacant little heart will charge the battery... on this electric chair. And when it's fully charged - BZZZZT! So either you kill Bane..." Joker, Batman: Arkham Origins "All this - All this rage. All directed at me, and for what? You know if you'd actually let me finish a sentence, you might learn something. You might learn that we're not so different." Joker, Batman: Arkham Origins Excerpt: Joker: Quick, the cure! What are you waiting for. C'mon! I killed your girlfriend, poisoned Gotham and hell... It's not even breakfast. But so what? We all know you'll save me. Batman: Every decision you've ever made ends with death and misery. People die, I stop you. You'll just break out and do it again... Joker: Think of it as a running GAG! *Stabs Batman, Batman drops the cure; the vial breaks* Batman: Gah! Joker: Nooooo! *Tries to scoop the liquid off the ground in futility* Are you happy now? Batman: You want to know something funny? Even after everything you've done, I would have saved you. Joker: Hehehehehehehe... Hahahahahaha! *Coughs, but continues to laugh* That actually is... Pretty funny! Hahaha! *Coughs and takes his last breaths; dies with a smile on his face* - Batman: Arkham City "Why give up? There's so much more fun to be had out there. Think about it! All those heads to smash, all those bones to break. It's like the world's greatest theme park and you're trying to get off the ride!" Joker, Batman: Arkham Knight "Guys, where did you go? Guys?! Guys?! I just want to talk! About shooting you! With this gun! Which I'm going to do when we're done talking!" Joker, Batman: Arkham Knight "I need you..." Joker to Batman, Batman: Arkham Knight Excerpt* "Nngh... Where am I...? What's happening to me?" "You're a smart man, Edward. I'm sure you'll figure it out." "No! No! No! You cheated! Catwoman cheated! She stole my victory from me!" "A fight I couldn't win? That doesn't even fit your definition of playing fair." "It was fair! If you weren't able to bypass the robots' multilayer encryption, decipher their unique operating system, and re-program them mid-battle, that doesn't mean you get to call in assistance!" "You need help, Nigma." "I never need help with anything!" - Riddler being brought in by Batman, Arkham Knight End Excerpt* "Aha... hahaha... AHAHAHAHAHA! And I thought scientists were supposed to be observant. While you focused on your machine, I had a different goal. Though some may call it revenge, I prefer to think of it as JUSTICE over single-minded scientists and corrupt politicians!" Clive, Professor Layton: Unwound Future "In truth, neither the Folsense we see before us, nor its residents, really exists. This is all a creation of our minds." Hershel Layton, Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box "See, there were these two guys in a lunatic asylum. And one night, they decide they don't like living in the asylum anymore. They decide they're going to escape! So, like, they get up onto the roof, and there, just across this narrow gap, they see the rooftops of the town, stretching away into the moonlight. Stretching away to freedom. Now, the first guy, he jumps right across with no problem. But his friend, his friend daren't make the leap. Y'see... y'see, he's afraid of falling. So then the first guy has an idea... He says, 'Hey, I have a flashlight with me! I'll shine it across the gap between the buildings. You can walk across the beam and join me!' But the second guy just shakes his head. He suh-says... he says 'Wh-what do you think I am? Crazy? You'd turn it off when I was halfway across!' - Joker, The Killing Joke "One step ahead of the game. One shot, take your aim. One step ahead of the game. You will make it." - Unknown, from Static Shock Favorite Yin and Yang pairs: 1. Batman and Joker: Batman the Animated Series 2. Obito and Kakashi: Naruto 3. Naruto and Sasuke: Naruto 4. Hashirama and Madara: Naruto 5. Uncle and Daolon Wong: Jackie Chan Adventures 6. Yugi and Kaiba: Yu-gi-oh! 7. Phoenix and Miles: Ace Attorney series 8. Goku and Vegeta: Dragon Ball Z 9. Junpei and Akane: Zero Escape 10. He Xiangu and Tso Lan: Jackie Chan Adventures Favorite Pairings: Note: Most of these will be 'feasible', but some will be pretty out there. This is just for those curious, and not in any particular order because I may not think of all of them. 1. Ash x Misty - Pokemon This was likely the first pairing I ever got into for any anime or manga. In fact, it's because of this pairing that I was ever introduced to this site. I didn't even know what fanfiction was back then, but I knew I liked seeing those two characters paired up, so I just read and read and read fanfics back in the early 2000's. 2. Takato x Rika - Digimon Not a whole lot of reasoning to this one. Just some cute-ish moments in the anime. And honestly? A lot of the pairings I like seem to favor the girl liking the boy, but not necessarily the other way around canonically. 3. Takuya x Zoe - Digimon See previous. 4. Junpei x Clover/Junpei x Akane - Zero Escape I fall down the middle with these pairings. Junpei likes Akane, and it's obviously reciprocated; on the other hand, towards the end of 999, the first game of this series, I saw some potential for Clover liking Junpei. Not necessarily Junpei liking Clover, but what you gonna do? 5. Jaden x Alexis - Yugioh GX A pity Jaden never returned her feelings canonically, but I like this one all the same. 6. Batman/Bruce Wayne x Catwoman/Selina Kyle - Batman: The Animated Series ... More gal likes guy, again, but they did end up 'married' in Bruce's dream world when the Mad Hatter put him under. Haha. 7. Nagato x Konan - Naruto They're not really an item canonically, as are a lot of pairings I'm into, but at the very least they feel compelled to protect one another and their beliefs/dreams. Plus, they've saved one another on a couple of occasions. 8. Naruto x Kurotsuchi / Naruto x Konan / Naruto x Hinata / Naruto x Anko - Naruto You're probably thinking something along the lines of, 'What are you thinking?!' ... But honestly? Right from the start, I told you I'm into some weird stuff. The first one would just amuse me - the offspring of the Fourth Hokage and the granddaughter of the Third Tsuchikage, together? Hilarious. And priceless. Canonically they have no attraction to one another whatsoever, so I'm not the biggest fan, but I'll admit to liking it on some level. The second one is mostly due to one fanfic, and I'm not the biggest supporter of it due to the age gap, but it has its own appeal to me. The third is mostly because of Hinata. She's a sweet girl, and I am of the opinion that Naruto needed to end up with a girl that would appreciate him, and not one that constantly chased after his rival. ... As for the fourth one, well, it would be another 'it-would-greatly-amuse-me' couple. They've both got similar personalities for one, and at some point in time or another, they both experienced loathing by their own villagers. Similar to the first and second pairings, I know this would never happen, but there's still something about it, like the others, that draws me to it to some degree. 9. Shikamaru x Temari / Yahiko x Pakura - Naruto This is one of the few canonical pairs I'm into. Well, Shika and Tem, anyway. The second one only applies to my fanfic, as it serves as a precursor to the first one. 10. Minato x Kushina - Naruto Again, canonical. They're both really likeable to me - I know some aren't the biggest of fans about Minato, since we don't see much of his character. 11. Beast Boy x Raven / Cyborg x Jinx - Teen Titans The first is canonical in the comics, apparently, but not so much the animated series, which I was and am into (not the chibi ones so much). The second, well, there's just something about it that's appealing to me. 12. Phoenix x Iris - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney We only see Iris in one case so far, but I like this pair so much more than Phoenix x Maya, which EVERYONE seems to be into. Plus, there's not so much of an age gap. 13. Brendan (Hoenn game character) x Courtney (Team Magma Admin) - Pokemon What can I say about this one? Very much out there. No attraction between the two canonically whatsoever. Just like... A few other pairings I like... Haha. Courtney's character in the new games amuses me, though, and her spamming of ellipses makes for some very interesting lines at some points, which can be and has been taken jokingly as her digging the protag (Brendan). This appeals to me more than Brendan x May. It really does. 14. Natsu x Erza - Fairy Tail ... I don't care what the series heavily implies as it goes along. This pairing immensely amuses me. Erza's, like, the Fairy Tail-equivalent of Kushina. And it's not like she and Natsu are without their moments, they're just more spread out in the series. Y'all should know I have my times when I go with the flow of fan pairings and times when I don't. This time is one of the latter. Similar to Maya, I just can't bring myself to like Lucy all too well. Or Jellalel, to be honest. Erza FTW. :P Fantastic Writers I look up to (in no particular order): 1. Kenchi618 - He's got some interesting ideas for the Naruto series, and his DCAU and X-Men fics aren't half bad, either. 2. Lucillia - ... If there's one name that sticks in my brain, it's this one. Great crackfic writer. I'll shamelessly admit some of my crackfic material is inspired by this writer. 3. Duesal Bladesinger - Another great crackfic writer. He's got two accounts that have amassed quite the collection of those, among other genres. 4. Koschei966 - More of an old friend, really. First writer I communicated with on this site. Without her encouragement, I probably wouldn't have kept up this gig for as long as I have. ; I was a different writer back then, always unoriginal and hyped by the new Doctor Who episodes. Did a ton of roleplaying with Koschei, too. All of those emoticons I spam? I didn't even know what those were before chatting with Koschei, so you have her to thank for my abundant use of them. XD Sadly, good ol' Koschei hasn't gotten on this site in eight years. 5. Legendary Legacy - Great crackfics. Pokes fun at some fanfic clichés, but I still enjoyed myself. You probably know this author for 'A Freak, A Creep, and a Psychopath', though. 6. Lithos Maitreya - Two stories stand out to me with this author: 'Left to Chance' and 'Walking Backwards on a Tightrope'. Both great Naruto stories; the first is a genderbending AU, while the second is a time-travel story with some complications for the travelers involved. 7. MogtheGnome - Four words: 'The Great Landscaping Crisis'. 'The Great Romantic' isn't half bad, either; both of these fics are two of my absolute favorite crackfics. 8. Nenilein - Besides being the first one ever to ask me if I would Beta a story? No matter how long it takes between updates, she always comes back to write more, and that's really admirable to me. Some writers might feel scared to post after months or even years of inactivity, but not Neni. I'd like to think I'm the same way, but my muse can be all over the place... ; 9. S'TarKan - I'm not entirely sure, but I THINK 'Team Eight' was the first Naruto fanfic I ever read. If it wasn't, it was definitely one of the best ones that I remember reading very early on in my perusing of the Naruto side of the Fanfiction archive. 10. Zangoose-Kira - At this point I just wanted to round out the number, but frankly, she deserves respect, too. Not only for actually being mad enough to listen to me and join this site, but also for being my fellow co-valedictorian from high school. So yeah. I personally know this author, even if she hasn't gotten on this site for a few years. ; (Will add more when I think up more) Things that are Not my Cup of Tea in Fanfics: 1. Character bashing outside of parodies/crackfics 2. Overpowering characters (to a certain extent) 3. Emphasis on original characters - mostly on Mary Sues/Gary Stus - as opposed to the main cast 4. High-school and vampire adaptations (outside of parodies and crackfics, which poke fun at them) 5. Yaoi/Yuri Story Blogs: http : / / jackiechanadventuresalterednews . blogspot . com / http : / / ttonunews . blogspot . com / Story Synopses: Here's synopses for the seasons of JCA:A: Season 1: Without knowing that history was altered once more, Jackie is on the hunt for the twelve mystical Talismans again. Will the final battle with Shendu be drastically different? Complete. Season 2: Even more deja vu ensues. Will Jackie be able to seal away all eight demons? Complete. Season 3: The hunt for the Talisman Powers are on again. Of course, more deja vu... however, things are getting more and more different. Instead of JUST Daolon Wong, it seems that there are other Dark Chi Wizards that are after the Talisman Powers. Who are they? How did the "Dark Chi movement" come about? And finally, who is this new mysterious ally of Jackie's? What's his story? Season 4: With Daolon Wong in prison and powerless, the other Dark Chi wizards attempt to free Tarakudo, Lord of all Oni, and King of all Shadowkhan. After a "successful" release, the hunt is on for the nine Oni masks. Even less Deja Vu is happening as time moves on. What IS going on? Season 5: The arc where everything is revealed. Who Jackie's new ally really is, why history was altered and who altered it, and what that said person is really after. TToNU (Part 1): Arc 1: Completed (06/06/14) Arc 2: Naruto's generation starts their shinobi careers, and things begin to heat up politically. Alliances are forged, and the Moon's Eye begins to move behind the scenes. Naruto and Team 7 are given their first C-Rank, and he has his first encounter with a foreign Jinchuriki. Complete Arc 2.5: The Konoha 12 recuperate after their C-Ranks and throw themselves into training... Preparation for the Chunin Exams. Complete Arc 3: The Chunin Exams. Rough Expectation for Completion: Unknown - although the Third Exam is going to be completed in the upcoming Chapter... Arc 4: Tsunade Retrieval and then...? Rough Expectation for Completion: Unknown Possible Upcoming Omakes (as in, these may be the next ones I write): Yahiko and Pakura: Yahiko had been out on a simple reconnaissance mission in the Land of Water; he never expected to stumble upon the legendary Scorch Style user, let alone rescue her. How did the Council of the Hidden Sand react to this change of events, and more importantly, how did Pakura react to the knowledge that she was to be used as a sacrifice to bring about an alliance between Sand and Mist? Team 7: How did Team 7 pass their Bell Test...? Obito and Shisui: What were the rising star and the black sheep like when they interacted? Nagato and Jiraiya: Shortly after he accepted the Hokage position, Nagato reflects on everything, and feels immensely guilty about 'letting' Minato die. Jiraiya's there, however, and the two have a heart-to-heart. Naruto: More glimpses of Naruto's childhood - how did our favorite blond Uzumaki get along with the rest of Team Minato's generation? How did Anko, Ibiki, Hayate, Yugao, Genma, Raido, and Guy mold him, and how in turn did he affect them? Fanfiction Projects: Ace Attorney Series: There's a certain redheaded antagonist in this series that has captured my muse lately; I want to write for Souta Sarushiro so badly, but if I do, I know I'll be making some big AU out of it, and I've got enough of those going on already. So, until I can find some way to write one-shots about the tragic clown, I'll probably lay off that plot bunny for a while. I have never attempted a drabble before, or anything remotely close to that, but if I can manage that at some point, I will write those. I'd wanted to revive the Drake Powers series at a later date, but Capcom keeps pumping out new Prosecutors, so there's really no need for my OC; and to be honest, the DP series wasn't too popular. I was still learning the ropes with writing, so it wasn't all that great. No ideas for other characters at this point beyond Souta Sarushiro; I'd consider Damon Gant and Bobby Fulbright, as I like the two of them as well, but no 'serious' ideas like I have for Souta. Avatar: The Last Airbender: I had a plot bunny for that series a while back, with parallel worlds and the Spirit World connecting them all; and the return of the Airbenders and the original Avatar. Of course, due to my muse abandoning me for that plot, the Avatar series was revived through Korra, and they completely outdid my plans, so I'm probably scrapping that plot, because it is waaay convoluted. But, if I ever dredge up inspiration to write for Avatar again while incorporating the new information, I may yet write for this fandom again, though it may be some time until then. Batman Arkham Series: Premise: Jason Todd never runs off to off the Joker, and thus never gets captured and tortured. How different would this series pan out if Batman never 'lost' a Robin? I've got a rough gameplan for Asylum, still planning out the ending arc of City, and still need to contemplate the replacement for Knight, which will be called Arkham Revenant. As per usual, there will be much angst and pain with Jason... just not quite to the point that he tries to sever ties with the Bat Clan. Jackie Chan Adventures: Naturally the one and only thing I'm writing for that is JCA:A. Even after I complete it, which won't be for some time yet, I'll only be writing stuff about that AU; I don't really feel inspiration for anything else; not yet, anyway. Naruto: Naturally, my main piece of work here is TToNU, and its eventual sequel, which will detail alternate Shippuden events. Once I get around to finishing that series, I'll probably try my hand at writing an AU of that with Minato as the Hokage, somehow, some way - although at that point, I'll have to see how I'm feeling; I might need to take a break considering how massive TToNU's sequel will be. Teen Titans: Like the Avatar series, my muse abandoned me here. I had a plot in mind a year or two ago, but with JCA:A and TToNU, that plot became forgotten to me, more or less. If I ever write for this fandom again, and I might, it will be similar to my intentions for writing for the Ace Attorney series; tiny stuff. I really need practice in writing those kinds of stories... Yugioh: Finally, Yugioh... I'm not sure when I'll get back around to redoing the SoL:AS and its sequels. I still have tiny sparks of inspiration for that series, but it's mostly GX. I think I liked GX slightly more than the original Yugioh series, but I'm not sure why exactly.
