Ooooh myyyy goooood, I'm in mental anguish, call an ambulance lmfao! What is happening is so horrible, but I can't stop reading this! Curiosity is killing the cat... repeatedly. Every misfortune that comes Makoto's way is a punch in the fucking gut; I feel his emotional pain growing at every turn and god damn does it sting like a bitch! I probably should have expected that this would hit me way worse since Makoto Naegi is my favorite danganronpa character; I love purehearted hereos, and Makoto is no doubt an empath characterwise- and I am a sucker for male characters being empathetic, since we don't get that very often. Although people often call him a bland character, I myself am optimistic and value compassion very highly, so seeing Makoto being emotionally vulnerable and kind, though proving that he can still be logically competent, easily had me rooting for him since the start of the first game- he had character to me, personally!

The way you wrote Naegi is fantastic- that is exactly how I view him as a character, and it gives him actual character depth! He's basically my headcanon, and never have I sawn anyone write him like this before! This is a very believable work, so kudos to you for writing not only Naegi, but everyone else in such a way that this could pass as canon material, disregarding the 3rd game of course! 3

Time to sleep and read more despair in the morning... I mean, the worst thing that I feel like could happen is complete molestation, so if that thankfully does not happen to our wonderful protagonist, then at least I can take solace in knowing that it could be worse... guess I'll wait and find out! Poor Naegi, that's alot of PTSD to shoulder, not to mention that people are giving up on him.
