![]() Author has written 8 stories for Alex Rider, Merlin, Danny Phantom, Young Justice, and Rise of the Guardians. Hi! I'm more of a reader than a writer, as you can probably see looking at the length of my favourites list. Because of how massive it is, an evolving list of recommendations can be found below. It is composed of either fantastic, well-plotted long fics, or masterful shorter fics, but everything on it is well written and worth looking at. A quick note on commonly confused words first, though: "They're" is a contraction of 'THEY ARE'. 'Their' means something belongs to a group of two or more people. 'There' is an indication of location; specifically, the location of something that is not in the immediate vicinity. If you have ANY respect for the English language, please don't misuse these basic words! It is slightly more difficult to discern the difference between "advice" and "advise" but please try. "Advice" is a noun meaning 'recommendations/guidance'. "Advise" is a verb meaning 'to give recommendations'. "Bare" vs "bear" is another frustrating set. "Bare" means 'naked/to uncover', but 'bear' means 'to carry/put up with' (and also refers to the animal, but I've never seen anyone misuse it in that context) To "break" is a verb meaning 'to separate into pieces/damage', or a noun meaning 'a pause', but a "brake" is a noun meaning 'a device for stopping a vehicle', or a verb meaning 'to stop a vehicle' "Exercise" means 'physical activity/engaging in physical activity' or 'to use' (e.g. 'she exercised her power'), but "exorcise" means 'to drive out an evil spirit' Finally, "viscous" is an adjective meaning 'thick/sticky', but "vicious" means 'deliberately cruel/violent'. FIC RECOMENDATIONS: Marvel Universe Avatar: The Last Airbender Charmed Danny Phantom Harry Potter Merlin Young Justice Crossovers Assorted IMPORTANT WARNING (okay, maybe not that important) Um...my old stuff is very, very old, and my writing has changed a lot since then. I was what- 13 when I posted my first story? Honestly, the only reason I haven't yet deleted them is because they hold sentimental value for me. Even though my writing still isn't Anthony Horowitz or whoever's standard, I still like to be able to sort of look back and go 'YAY! At least I'm not as bad as I was!' Well. I'd like to say I'm not as bad. If you're here, you'll probably form your own opinions. |
