My number one fanfiction pet peeve is misusing/misreading/loosing sight of a character's personality. Especially when it's my favorite character. And especially when it's my OTP. Inwardly, I cry waterfalls and hug my feelings and tell them shh everything will be OK. Outwardly I just scowl and/or cringe a little and hiss. (My number two pet peeve is bad grammar.
