I. must have read this forever ago when you first published and been so overwhelmed by how /awesome/ it is to have coherently left a review and for that I am very sorry because it deserves all of the reviews in the world.

This is absolutely amazing. I looooove the whole idea behind it, the premise, and the flickers and glimpses into all of the ways that everything could go wrong. Would go wrong, in one time or another. It's like you've raked all of the phandom's Bad Ends and distilled them into one fic in a matter of sentences and phrases but CAPTURED THEM ALL PERFECTLY AND OMG THIS IS HORRIFYING TO READ IN ALL THE BEST OF WAYS

And then the ending is greatttttt toooooo ahhhhhh

This is so sweet and so sad and I love it! I love stories where we get Clockwork's pov. Truly a lovely lovely story.

Aww so sweet, even if I might have almost got sick at the beginning, I really loved this. It's nice to know how much Clockwork care about Danny's well being.

Very interesting bond setup. Just how the little story unfolds is pretty grand.

For a few years now, I've wondered why Clockwork goes to the trouble of helping Danny of all people when he shows up, why all the convoluted plans were necessary. This isn't the why, it's the how - carefully steering Danny away from a thousand bad ends each worse than the last. And all he gets is the friendship of said disaster magnet. ...It's more thanks than he usually gets.

(Also, those bad ends are terrifyingly plausible - in-show, not just AU. DP is rather dark for a kids' show.)

For all the times you wonder how things would have gone if you did something different. I've always had a problem with Clockwork so I appreciate you ability to write about him and show things from his perspective and a lovely offering for the holiday season.

This was really good! A little disorienting with all the quick scene jumps, but it was a great way to show how tired Clockwork can get when he's watching all those stressful moments. Anyway, Merry Christmas and keep on writing! :D

I think Danny considers Clockwork nut just his friend, but a mentor as well.
