Another thing I like about your writing is your dialogue. It's realistic and I can easily picture the characters saying it, even down to the tone of voice. And your characterization, especially of Arthur, is wonderful - I especially love the way you portray his reaction to the day's events. The relationship between them is very well-done as well - your portrayal of their easy friendship is just fantastic.

How sweet! I can actually see this one happening. Just seems like the kind of adorably dorky thing Merlin would do. It's easy to forget that these two have to see and face such hardships on a near daily basis, and despite all the lighthearted snark everyone needs their escape. I especially liked how easy their dynamic is, how Arthur doesn't press Merlin to explain and they just sort of slip back into the usual teasing relationship but you can tell they care. As always, wonderfully written, with a nice flow. I always love your characterization of Arthur XD Thanks!

I can completely relate to the impulse to find a dark, small space where I can think and calm down so this fic really touched me. I really like how you stayed true to the characters too. A lot of times when people add a non-canon quirk to a character they butcher the way the characters would react, but you stayed true to them and I just loved it.
