Actually Kay was a character from one of the MANY tomes of legend published about our fair (read: fairly AWESOME) king. Anyways, I really liked the fic, you did a great job! I especially loved the part where Merlin was conceived just as Arthur was born. I thought that was really cool how you worded it. Amazing job! (I'm adding this to faves and checking if you have anything else I'd like. Judging by this, I do.)

i loved this - it was a beautiful treatise on the connection merlin's magic has with arthur... i love arthur feeling the residual magic of merlin's playing when he's still a child... i love merlin's magic saving arthur even if he can't physically get to him in time... how come they didn't do something like that with the last ep.? very well done. :)

That was absolutely beautiful. I loved young Arthur's connection to Merlin even before they met. Had poor Merlin given his life for Arthur in the end there? That was how I read it, anyway, and it was heartbreaking but so perfect that even then he was there with Arthur.

I always get so excited to see an alert for you in my mailbox. Your stories are lovely and perfectly capture the things I love most about Arthur and Merlin's devoted friendship (which even seems such a poor choice of words to describe their relationship, doesn't it?).
