Actually, it doesn't matter if it's my favourite thing, because everything that can be said to truly, undisputably, absolutely exist, with a guarantee, is stories. It's all that matters. You might do the stupidest, most horrible things ever, but if you can pull off telling the story, then it's all right. The deepest hell you end up in, it doesn't really matter, as long as it's a good story. (Fair point, if a little oddly put.)

That's why I don't like new, sterile, unused items - They have no story. (Ouch. Feel the pretention coming on.) I feel much more comfortable with stuff that has been around and has a few scrapes. Indeed, if I should cause a visible scrape in something, I will rejoice and feel honoured to be part of a new story. Visibly part even. Oh, I ramble. (HAH! DO I!)
