Omg the feels

Wow! I loved that so much, especially chapter 3! Merlin’s words were so personal and heartfelt and it definitely touched me on a deep level, as I’m sure it did a lot of people. Their friendship is so beautiful and you put it into words so perfectly and kept them in character so well I felt like I could actually hear their voices. I really liked how you described the death scene, putting words to what we saw on screen in such a real and heartbreaking way. I actually cried again, just like I did watching it the first time! And adding the part where Arthur visits Merlin just made the sadness so much more real, but then the ending was so happy! I really loved that last line a lot. I hope we get to see more from you soon. You are just incredible at writing, really! I hope you get something published someday!

Great... so... do you want it the nice way or the not so nice way?... hmm?... how about both?... okay! I'll go with nice first.

So basically, Arthur's spirit came to visit Merlin to comfort him even though there was no use as he could not hear him? So... pointless.

Now the not so nice.

Arthur's ghost was being a creep and watching a man cry, almost undress himself and then fall asleep, while he touched him, knowing that he could not feel it. Creepy much? Where was the comforting part?! Merlin didn't hear, see or feel him being there! How was he comforted! Okay. Yes he met him again when he was an old man and died I guess, but that was like 70 years later! Where was the comforting that Arthur got so much form Merlin!?

You are gruel! I hate you. I've been reading that one fanfick here "merlin Season 6" that someone wrote, twice! I healed. I felt like Arthur did not die and the story here when Gwen had gone away, hit me right to the feelings because it was so beautiful and right! I was so happy. I really did feel like Arthur and Merlin would have both lived on happily. And two chapters later you kill him again!? How could you do that!? That last part better be good!

That chapter was beautiful! Hit me right to the feels. :') exactly what my heart needed after the tragedy of Season 5

Aw this was my favourite chapter of this story. I hate that the grief Merlin feels is canon and I am still heartbroken since the day the writers of the show decided that it should end with Arthurs death :(

so sad, I really wish cannon had given a better ending...

the chapter may be hard to write, but it was great to read
