As for keeping a secret, it is something of a tossup if leaving your lifeless body as a ghost instead of transforming into one is better or worse for secret keeping purposes. Probably worse, you might have a visible alibi which helps, but it is an alibi you really, really don’t want anyone checking and is outright dangerous in an emergency situation. (Laughs) I do like the class’s reaction to Danny. It’s an interesting alternate universe idea; thanks for writing and posting this. |

| ChameleonGiant chapter 2 . 7/10/2016 "Phantom of the opera people!" oh my I loved how pun that was XD I found that post today and thought it was the queerest thing ever. I have no idea when that post made it on tumblr, but it would of been something spooky if it had been posted before the anime Noragami came out. The reason I mention it is because one of the main characters in the series is a sort of anomaly, escaping her body multiple times into the spirit plane after getting hit by a truck. She's anchored by a cord that looks a lot like a tail that connects her to her still alive body and keeps her from becoming a wayward spirit (translation: dying). The only real difference is how her periods of absence look more like narcoleptic episodes (That anime's a great watch by the way, totally recommend it). Sounds a little less unsettling than finding the kid next to you in English class cold and dead huh? |
