Guest chapter 45 . 7/27 This is the best Harry Potter fan fiction I’ve ever read, |
Sleepyhawk502 chapter 45 . 7/16 Great story! Thanks for sharing! |
AS chapter 45 . 7/14 This story really continued to emphasize Sirius’ commitment to Harry, and in particular Harry’s safety starting with Lockhart manhandling poor Harry in Diagon Alley, to trying to pull Harry out of school when they realize Tom Riddle controls the unknown monster in the school, specifically coming up when Harry hears the voice during detention and doesn’t know why, and finally just how you wrote the fear/determination that Sirius had to get into the chamber when he realized Harry was in it. It’s heartwarming to see Harry in the care of someone who cares about him, but doesn’t fully control Harry’s life so I still see get to see the Harry Potter I love who disregards his own safety in order to help others but has a guardian he can turn to. Plus I love toward the end when Sirius shows up to rip Fudge a new one for bringing the dementors onto school grounds without warning anyone. I continue to love who you’ve turned Draco into, and his constant need to remind Harry what caution is (his birthday gift/card to Harry in the beginning made me chuckle), and in chapter 7 when Draco mentions they’re trying to correct Harry of his habit of doing such dangerous things, and later on in chapter 19 when Draco mentions Sirius should be used to Harry in danger AND what it would be like if Harry went looking for trouble – HA. Really diving into the intricacies of Tom Riddle possessing Ginny was really jarring (especially because it was well-done) – it’s not touched on that much in the actual series how much that possession probably traumatized Ginny, especially at the end with her seeing the mind healer. I do wonder how about the future of Bellatrix and Harry meeting because you’ve twice (at least that I’ve caught) mentioned Sirius’ dread at having Harry and Bella in the same room (once in Intensity and once in Identity), and I’m curious to see if that ends up playing out. Your writing is really well done, and often times I can really visualize the scene – one particular scene that stands out is in chapter three when Remus is explaining the breakup to Harry – I can visualize Sirius just sitting there amused as Harry calls Remus out. Thanks for another enjoyable story! |
YamiTiger chapter 12 . 6/13 I really thought canon would be broken and Dumbles would name drop Tom Riddle and Ginny would have an epiphany but so far I am liking this handling of the second year. |
lederware chapter 22 . 6/9 Now this is a good idea, again. Thanks! |
lederware chapter 21 . 6/9 As another reviewer said this story arc really is lacking ideas. And it’s a shame because the characterizations of your protagonists are great. I also like Tom and his manipulations of Ginny. As I’m reading far too much fan fiction I am not exactly sure but I think Harry suspected himself to be a Horcrux in your brilliant story Innocent (after opening the locket). So that should be something he’s now thinking of again. |
anjiepotter chapter 45 . 6/7 i enjoyed this instalment also. thanks |
Tatyana lily granger chapter 21 . 6/6 this instalment lacks ideas like first two installments. I very much liked them then. this is somehow boring... I hate it when Ginny talks to Tom... |
Divys chapter 45 . 6/1 Hi, Ginny was never my favourite character and your Ginny seems less friendly than the original one - she had her siblings and friends around and felt lonely, abandoned everyone exept Tom... Still, I was so sorry for her. In the canon, it was like she didn't know anything about the possession, lost her memories about what she was doing and that worried her. But your story about her and Tom, it was a horror. It's so easy to trust someone so manipulative like Tom and then it was too late... To know so much details and her and his feelings was really awesome and very very realistic. Good job again, you are an excellent writer! |
Yankeegomera chapter 45 . 5/13 Hi!, This serie is a nice work. Thanks. |
thrawnca chapter 2 . 5/11 Tonks makes a very good point, I think, that in the end, self-denigration is not a noble sacrifice; it's always a slap in the face to someone else. If I call myself weak, or ugly, or hopeless, and condemn myself for it, then what am I saying about someone weaker, or uglier, or with worse prospects, than myself? And as she says, to just let someone walk away is to say that they are not important enough to you to hold onto. A falling tide lowers all boats. |
Cali Dreamweaver chapter 45 . 4/24 Loved the development of Ginny. I did miss Hermione but she WAS petrified for most of this year |
Cali Dreamweaver chapter 39 . 4/24 Oh, silly oblivious Harry! But then, he's a child. |
Cali Dreamweaver chapter 33 . 4/24 Smart Harry, and kind of competent Lockhart. I'm happy to see one and surprised to see the other. |
Cali Dreamweaver chapter 32 . 4/24 Really! Draco SAID, chapters ago, that Hogwarts ought to be closed, but Lucius wouldn't listen. NOW they do something about it. |
