Last Update: January 26, 2018 You may or may not have noticed that a great many of my stories have disappeared. This was done on purpose because after having reread them, I realized just how extremely awful they were and was ashamed of them, so I removed them to save myself from the embarrassment. Do not ask me to put them back up, because I won't. The only way you'll ever see them again is if I do some MAJOR revisions on them, so don't hold your breath for that to happen, because chances are, it's not. Name: I feel comfortable enough around here to let people know my first name. It's Jenny. Hi! :D Languages: Oh, yes, I have this category too! I speak both English and French fluently and would like to learn either Russian or German next; I still can't decide between them. My YouTube account name is JenamDrag0n. Okay, well first of all, I am a pessimist by nature but I'm an extremely sensitive individual as well. So if it wasn't for someone here who was one of my first reviewers and is now my closest friend, I probably would not have continued writing. And I have her to thank for giving me confidence to continue. Thank you, Tima. Anime/TV Shows: My interests are wide and varied and much too numerous to list here, but I love many different kinds of animes, some of which I've written for and others I haven't, and only this past year have I actually really gotten into discovering good Western shows, and I would like to thank Phineas and Ferb for that because that show was what inspired me to go back and re-watch some of the old cartoons that I used to watch snippets of back when I was in middle school and we had cable TV for a little while. Music: Again, I like a variety of things ranging from heavy rock and metal to dance and techno and even to classical music (particularly those by Russian composers) and anyone who says that classical music is boring and dull needs to listen to Prokofiev's Cinderella Suite - Midnight (I swear to god, that music is ridiculously-intense for a girl losing a shoe). The only music genres I'm really not a big fan of are rap and slow jazz. Books: Ohhh, how I love books! Way too many to list here, but in case you couldn't tell from my name; I love dragons a lot. So likely, if it's about dragons and the premise is interesting, I'll give it a shot. I tend to like fantasy and even some sci-fi though I don't actively seek it out, and love reading historical fiction as well (you start talking 1700s in Europe to me and I'm all ears). Beyond this, I'm willing to give any book a try if it seems to describe an idea in the plot summary that intrigues me. ()() Paste the bunny on your profile and join the dark side! This is Bunny. Man, I remember back when I first started this thing and it was chock-full of useless and pointless information, but I'm very glad I found this place. It's really helped me grow my writing, be more confident in myself, taught me how to deal with people over the Internet, particularly those in fandoms, strengthened my analytical skills about character study, storyline narrative, and plots, and even provided a safe, rather harmless outlet of which to express and deal with my sexual maturation and identity. The road I've taken in order to get to where I am now has not been an easy one (especially in acquiring the people skills aspect), and I have my regrets about things I've done or said, but on the other hand, I know I've come along way from where I was, and that makes me happy. So now, onto the topic of my works: There are many ideas that I have, many of which I will never even write down and some of which, I will only write a few pages of the idea more as a writing exercise because the idea intrigued me rather than any real, serious intention to make a full story out of it. I try not to post anything that I haven't already completely (or mostly) written out long-before it ever sees the Internet, because I don't want to write a story and then have people permanently on hiatus because I don't know what else I want the story to do. This is part of the reason why more than half of my stories are just one-shots. Most of my story ideas tend to be either based on personal headcanons of mine, extended moments of something that happened, might have happened, or was implied to have happened in the canon, a way to tie things off in a way that is satisfactory for me, or simply the product of a really neat idea that I've seen no-one else do. The "seen no-one else do" is a key facet of many of my stories. Often, I will look through the other fics in the fandom to see if somebody has already had a similar idea and when I don't, I sometimes take it upon myself to fix this because I believe that it is an idea that others in the fandom should be exposed to. It is my hope that what I write will not only entertain the readers, but might also impart to them a new perspective on the show or a character that they hadn't considered before. Bearing this in mind, I do not write for the sake of readers. I write for my own sake because I love to and if others enjoy what I write, that's great! But I will not beg for reviews or not update because I don't get them (although reviews are nice - I won't deny it), and I certainly won't alter the predestined fate of the story simply because the will of the readers demands it. All that being said, I hope you find something on here that peaks your interest and that you enjoy it. Thank you. |
