I found this rather amusing. I do wanted to also see Rtas hearing about Humanity's religions. It would amusing to see that even they have gods. Though I can tell they will be in for a surprised if they heard of the other religions like Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, as for the hidden ones like Zoroastrianism and Jainism. That will definitely catch them off guard. I will love if there would be a sequel to this, but this is a great one-shot nonetheless.

I don't know how you do it, but you write the characters so well and...in-character. I can hear, word-for-word, each of these lines of dialogue being said by their respective voice actors, and it just fits.

I was hoping that the Arbiter would show a bit more interest in the more particular details about the passage he just read. It seems like those Covenant folk really like their religious doctrines, after all, and they might be interested to see what kind of doctrines and dogma human beliefs are composed of.

Then again, what really needed to shine most was the bonding moment between Johnson and the Arbiter, which was done wonderfully. Great job!

Surprisingly thoughtful. I honestly think that this may be the best Halo fic I've ever read. There need be no chapter 2 - in less than 2,000 words you've absolutely nailed this one.

Could you write about Johnson and that guy he hugged from Halo: Combat evolved? I wanna know how they helped each other get off that planet...maybe he got a friend on the inside...

Author, I love the mix of introspective pieces as well as quality smut that you write and this piece doesn't disappoint. I personally like the revelation the Arbiter had that Humanity had Gods and were religious. Rock on Author
