Deja Vu 22 chapter 5 . 8/10/2017 Okay, so, I've read a lot of your Tucker and Wash fics, and I just have to say how much I love their interactions. Their friendship is super awesome in the show, and I think you capture it really well. Thanks for this awesome fic! |
Yuhi-san chapter 5 . 10/11/2014 Hey! I really like the story. It's cool to see how you write Wash. It's clear that he is not quite stable and does not know how to handle the Situation with the reds and blues, let alone how to fit in this. But at the same time you don't make him seem crazy or out of his mind. I also like Carolinas apperance and how Tuckar thinks and acts. Especially towards Wash. The whole diesle thing with Simmens was really... typical for Red vs Blue. XD Also like Grif being really pissed off once. |
P.A.W.07 chapter 5 . 7/23/2014 I loved it. It definitely can fill in some gaps between the chapters. I rather liked your representation of Wash in this. He seemed human and vulnerable, which he did have the snot beaten out of him from earlier after all so it made sense. Plus, I'm a shameless angst fan. So, great job. |
ILikeToSneeze chapter 5 . 6/22/2014 This was really good and you showed the relationships between the characters really well. The plot was interesting and believable, however I think you may have gone overboard with the swearing. Yes, I know this is red vs blue, but it's still a bit much in the narration and kind of draws you out of the story as there's so much of it, even if it is from his point of view. In Tucker's speech, it seems as if every other word is 'fuck' and while it's not that out of character, I don't think he swears that much in the show, especially considering the other characters barely swore in comparison. It seemed to be only Tucker and I thought it was a little excessive (that's just my opinion, though). That's pretty much my only nit-pick in an otherwise great story, however, and sorry if you don't agree! Awesome job and I apologise if I rambled ;) |
skywalker05 chapter 5 . 5/11/2014 Your writing is so fantastic. I don't know how you get every voice so perfect, and how you write these things so fast! I was thinking that this might be the origin story of Carolina's appearance, and it was cool to see her show up here. I wish I had a more coherent review for how much I love your word choice and the rhythm of everything, and how I feel like I just watched an episode. |
SupeyNinjaZora19 chapter 3 . 5/6/2014 OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD! BOSS! CAROLINA! HOLY GOD-WASH! ARGH! ... This chapter messed me up -_- Just... God... |
ILikePeanuts chapter 3 . 5/1/2014 ya mental Wash and awesome Carolina reunite |
ChildishFears chapter 1 . 4/27/2014 Da Da Da Da Dum I'm Lovin it Update soon Great story I love your story's. |
skywalker05 chapter 2 . 4/26/2014 I absolutely love that the Blues don't trust Wash not to shoot Grif, and I absolutely love that Tucker gets to use some of his Sangheili diplomacy. The sentence with Simmons talking "without the defensive tone he gets" is so great. That "like" really sums up what it is to write about Blood Gulch and keep the jokey tone while also having really good flow, and you're so good at that. Sarge injecting Simmons unknowingly with diesel oil is horrifying and perfect. |
Patient131071 chapter 2 . 4/26/2014 More great work, managing that distinctive balance between humour, tension/plot and action that made the Recollections so excellent. Also like the way you've added a sense of Tucker's voice to the narration to reinforce his perspective. |
skywalker05 chapter 1 . 4/26/2014 I chuckled at Tucker's description of how Blues usually deal with pain. It's great to see a (basically) Recollection era story - that arc doesn't get enough love any more, and this seems like it'll fill in a lot of blanks about Wash and Tucker's friendship and that gap of time where Church was gone. You're so good at making really unique scenes, and the Blue asking Wash about the stripes is one of them. I never would have thought to make that a discussion, and here it tells a lot about Wash and Freelancer. And of course "Someone important to me died for hers" slays me. Yes, it is a silly thing to die for. I'm very curious about who this sniper is, and also can't deal, in a good way, with Caboose interrupting a life-threatening scene with "I knew it had something to do with birds." I look forward to more Blue Team adventures! |
glittering wolf chapter 1 . 4/25/2014 I am looking forward to seeing where this is going. |
Patient131071 chapter 1 . 4/25/2014 Always happy to see more Washington, and you're filling a gap I've been curious about since it was made. I look forward to seeing where this is going. |
