This is a fantastic story.

Thank you for this amazing story. Selim is my favorite character, even after I realized he was Pride, and once I finished the manga I just had to try and find fanfiction of him post-main story. Back then, In the Shadows was the first one that caught my interest. It has remained my favorite FMA story since.
I know I said it before, but thank you so much for sharing this story. I hope one day Selim did find a true happy ending.

I spammed you back when I was really young. I'm sorry. I've regretted it now and again. I just have a really one track mind, and your writing hit all my buttons. This still holds up when I look at ithe today. After trying to write fanfiction myself, I can nowork fulky understand the pressure it can put on people, and realize I should be grateful that such a story even exists. Thank you for giving Selim, one of the most underated FMA characters, some love.

I just power read through this whole thing, didn't get to sleep until 5 AM. Even though it seems unlikely you'll continue, I just wanted to say I loved the story, sure there's no fighting, but the emotional drama and tension is addicting. As a long time sufferer of depression, I know exactly how excruciatingly difficult it can be to even find the willingness to get through the day, let alone write a story that people will look at and judge. Hopefully you're doing better these days, but as some friendly advice, don't worry about how good you are at writing. So long as you like doing it then nothing else matters. And remember, when depressed, you always judge yourself way more harshly than others do. Anyway, this is all probably embarrassingly outdated, in summation, loved the story, cheers!

Well, it is a shame u will not continue this story. Let me just tell u it was so amazing and full of emotion. Even though u may doubt your writing ability, believe me when I say that it is really good! I could clealry picture everything in my head. It was really descriptive, but not overlly so. U wrote a nice balance of descriptioh, dialouge, just everything.

Anyways, I hope u feel better soon! I know what it's like to suffer from chronic mental illness. I suffer from anxiety and agoraphobia. It is horrible and debilitating. Still be strong and try to do things that u enjoy. And even though it may not feel like it, remwmber that there are people who are there for u.
