What's the thing with Remus and chocolate

It's a heart warming story but the constant changes in tense is really distracting. One moment Lilly is doing everything in the present tense, then she did it in the past. Of course I understand that English may not be your first language perhaps. I am not saying this to be horrid, but to make you aware of the need to be consistent for future stories that you may write. Also you started out writing from Lilly's POV but then changed it to 3rd person which was a little confusing. I will try to ignore this and keep reading though :-)
