I never imagined that their struggle was this hard...
And Zuko had to deal with PTSD, huh. He's so strong. Always confronting his problems and fears, charging fully ahead, all in, and not being satisfied until it's been accomplished.
It's terrifying to think that Uncle Iroh could have, almost died.
The way you write is very engaging. The things that strike me most are often the things unsaid. I'd probably be referencing your work in the future as I write and try to improve.

You might just be my new fave fanfic author! That scene where Zuko was yelling at the birds was 100000/10. you get a fave!

You’ve done a great job of exploring Zuko’s and Iroh’s time adrift after the Siege of the North. You’ve incorporated what the show had given us and did not shy away from the ramifications left unsaid owing to the show’s young audience. Zuko’s reaction is highly plausible. I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction between him and his uncle. Excellent story!
