Okay, I decided after about 3-4 years I needed to revise this story and so I have done just that :) I even added some new bits to it! I hope everyone enjoys the revamped version :)

Rin was holding Sango's newest baby. She thought he was so adorable, with his little nose and short brown hair. She didn't know anything about children. She only knew they were adorable. Rin loved babysitting for Sango, mainly because she gets to spend time with the little cuties and how the children looked so peaceful while they slept making her happy that the hard times seemed to be over. She smiled as she remembered Sesshomaru was supposed to visit that day happy that she got to see him for the first time in months.

After her parents and brother died, she never thought she would ever find a family or anything like one ever again and had lost her voice for the longest time unable to talk and had to put up with the abuse of the villagers in her old village. Then she found Sesshomaru, Jaken, Ah Un, Sango, Miroku, Shippo, Kirara, and even Inuyasha treated her nicely, they made her feel like she had a family again..No they were her family. They were her family and she was glad to finally have a family. She kind of missed Kagome, She never knew her all that well, but enough to know she was very nice and Kagome had cared about her wellbeing on many occasions further making the girl believe that she was a nice person.

Rin smiled as she saw Sesshomaru land in front of Keade's hut the stoic demon lord standing at the entrance not venturing inside of the little human made place that Rin now called home. The little girl was touched that Sesshomaru was willing to visit a human village to bring her stuff and visit her. Him a demon lord feared by all visiting a little ten year old girl who couldn't hurt a fly who spent her days picking herbs and flowers. A girl that no one has ever acknowledged or cared for, the girl who had thought that one day that she was never going to experience happiness in her life before feeling sharp teeth cutting into her. Then she woke up to stare up into the eyes of the demon she had been trying to nurse back to health despite him being difficult towards her. Tearing her mind away from those thoughts Rin then remembered Sango's children who were demanding to be fed and also the question that had been nagging her all day. She thought as she ran out of the hut to greet Sesshomaru after feeding the children and letting them resume their napping,' He is so smart, maybe Lord Sesshomaru knows the answer."

Rin stopped in front of Sesshomaru, who just looked down at her his face in his usual stoic mask but his eyes was the place Rin looked to see his emotions. Like people say the eyes are the windows to the soul and to Rin, Sesshomaru's soul was one of the best ones. She smiled at him as she said," Lord Sesshomaru! I am so happy to see you!"

Sesshomaru looked towards Jaken who was carrying a package for Rin which she assumed it was another kimono that would probably look similar to the others that she was given and she was grateful for it. Sesshomaru only gets her the best something that she was still learning to get accustomed to after so many years of hardship. Jaken handed it to her being quite for once while Rin smiled saying to the both of them," Thank you Lord Sesshomaru and master Jaken."

She opened the package and pulled out a blue kimono with white flowers on it, she was amazed by its beauty she said in an awed voice," Its beautiful!"

She put it away just as Inuyasha, Miroku, and Sango were coming back from making sure that there were no hostile demons in the area. Rin noticed them giving them a wave before turning back to Sesshomaru and asking him," Lord Sesshomaru. May I ask you a question?"

Sesshomaru looked at her as he asked wondering what she could have to ask him of all people, he was not used to her asking him questions and found that even he was curious about what she had to ask him" What is it?"

Rin looked thoughtful wondering if she should really ask Sesshomaru this question, but he was probablyt he smartest one around and so it would be best if she asked him she decided before asking the question that had been bugging her this whole time," Ever since I started babysitting Sango's children I wanted to know... Where do babies come from?"

It took everyone a few moments to really let that question sink in before Inuyasha busted out laughing along with Sango and Miroku glancing over to see Sesshomaru's reaction to the question his reaction only serving to amuse them more to the lord's annoyance. Though, the look on Sesshomaru's face was indeed a priceless one. His eyes went wide for a second and for once he looked embarrassed while he walked away rather quickly as he said to his poor servant the tips of his pointy ears appeared to be red as well," Jaken. Answer Rin's question."

Jaken's face went red as he yelled to his lord finding that he did not want to answer the question himself, it was an indecent matter for the both of them! Not one that should be asked or answered until the girl was older and they were not in the village to be asked," Why me? She asked you!"

Sesshomaru glared at him as he said in a strict tone his posture giving away that all the man really wanted to do was escape the area and the situation, Jaken was the perfect decoy as he did just that," Jaken are you defying me?"

aken shook his head, his face still red as he said frantically waving his hands a bit the staff almost falling onto his head," No me Lord. I will answer Rin's question."

nuyasha laughed as he said, walking away though he was tempted to sit around and listen to what the imp was going to tell Rin but he wanted to go get some food at the moment," Make sure you tell her every little thing. So she won't ask again two years later."

Jaken grumbled as he sat on a rock in front of a curious Rin as Sango went to take care of the children before coming back when she noticed that Miroku did not follow her and had taken a seat beside Rin himself, Sango returned grabbing the monk by the ear and saying to him as she began to drag him off,"You already know where babies come from. You have three of them to prove it."

Miroku said as he was pulled away by his ear with a smile on his face showing that old habits died hard," I was only staying to point out what the imp would leave out or forget, this is a delicate matter you know! I thought they needed some expert advive!"

Rin was staring at Jaken as she said in an impatient voice determined to get to know the answer by the end of the day," Jaken. I am waiting. Tell me, where do babies come from?"

After that Rin never asked Jaken another question after that day and every time she asked Sesshomaru if she can ask him a question he always told her becoming cautious around her," Not if it has anything to do with children."

Jaken avoided Rin after that so he wouldn't have to answer any of her questions again and Inuyasha never let Jaken OR Sesshomaru live that day down and constantly reminded them about it before even telling Kagome when she went back to the Feudal Era.
