I remember reading somewhere that Xibalba was once some heavenly warrior, but something happened to which he was punished. Kinda playing on the "fallen angel" character, but I like your take on the wings. And loved how La Muerte cheered him up.

Also, liked the way this story was writen, jumping from the present to the past. In the future, you might want to italicize the flashback parts to keep the two times from merging.

With all this information from Jorge and what I'm used to I still have to say I'm not used to all these changes happening because of what I usually read. But I'm glad that this story was perfect.
