![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Greetings, potential readers! I'm Mr. Villiers, but you can call me whatever comes to mind. I'm a male American, but the rest is up to your imagination. I have a deep love for reading and writing, I'm addicted to fan fiction—Harry Potter in particular—and I'm also a self-published author on Amazon. I have a few favorite fandoms, but if I had to choose one, Harry Potter beats all the others hands down and blindfolded. For me, everything that I am stems from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, as my mother read it to me when I was a child, and that book opened my mind to all kinds of imaginings and created a deep-seated love of magic, fantasy and, especially, Harry Potter. Now, when it comes to favorite characters... That's a bit trickier. I guess it really depends on the day of the week. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Snape, and Luna are all contenders for varying reasons, and I really can't say who wins the Most Awesomest Character award. And while I am rather flexible and open-minded when it comes to pairings and shipping, I only have one Harry Potter-related OTP, and it is most definitely Harmony. That's not to say that I believe Harry and Hermione couldn't each achieve a fulfilling relationship with other people; the two of them just make the most sense to me in particular. These and other characters' relationships may drastically vary between stories. Now, done to business. When it comes to my style of writing, I usually tend to stick to a third-person, past-tense narrative, though I'm not adverse to first person—funnily enough, my original work on Amazon is written first person!—though I don't have any plans to write any fan fiction stories in that format. My stories usually stick to a single character's perspective, though I do occasionally like to switch characters, but only if it suits the story. And when it comes to fan fiction, I strive to stay true to the original characters as much as possible unless certain changes in personality and behavior are appropriate within the context of the story. Also, I visit the Harry Potter wiki frequently for canon facts and info, so if there are any "incorrect" details, it's almost certain that I wrote it so intentionally for the purpose of the story. And lastly, I don't publish any stories until they are completed either in whole or in part, as in Part One, Part Two, etc. Therefore, when it comes to the longer epics, it may take me quite a while to publish them, especially as I have my own original work that needs my attention first and foremost. I have a good many ideas rattling around inside my head and in my hard drive's folders. While I doubt I'll ever put all of them to virtual paper, what follows are a few works I'm most excited about. Please keep in mind that my original work takes priority, and since I prefer to begin publishing a story when it's finished, it could be some time before they appear on this site. A short romance that involves a quick marriage of convenience for Harry in order to inherit Sirius's estate. An AU where Harry acquires the ability to jump between his world and a parallel one so that he can find the ingredients for a time-travel ritual that will help him save his own world from Voldemort's wrath. A post-Deathly Hallows AU where Harry fakes his death during the Battle of Hogwarts, crafts a new identity and returns for his seventh and final year. An AU that follows one of J.K. Rowling's early drafts of the first book, in which the Potters live on an island and Mr. Granger rescues baby Harry. An AU in which Harry discovers a magical book that seems to accurately foretell the events of his first year at Hogwarts. A medieval AU A novella-length story detailing a realistic portrayal of Harry and Hermione surviving in the wild during the Horcrux hunt.
