A tip on stuttering; REAL stuttering is caused by a strained closing of the airway when trying to speak (if my memory serves me), which is also why it gets worse when the person is stressed and thus tense up.

To write Quirrel, just try to say the word, but close up your airway imediatly as you speak.

You'll quickly notice that S (ssh/zh) is an easy letter to stutter on, while P, say in 'Position' will come out as Po. (Poh)

Mind you, I am not a stutterer myself, and we KNOW Quirrel is acting. And while he has to act at least passable, he may not be a great actor, and few people can tell false stuttering from real anyway, so you can't really be wrong.

Because if your Quirrel sounds unautentic, it could just be his own bad acting. Tom may be a great actor, but he doesn't seem able to take control over Quirrel's body. So we know it IS Quirrel that DO try to stutter, and we know nothing about HIS acting skills.

Wow. This was great! I think you captured their characters perfectly. I've always thought dumbledore was a bit manipulative but I like him all the same and you captured that aspect of him wonderfully.
