| Kai chapter 1 . 10/6/2019 Is Harry stupid or what? When Tom was a child very few people had a television at home. Most televisions were in public locations for lots of people to go watching. An inner-London orphanage, I would bet a lot, would NOT have a telly. I don't know if these public places had an admission fee, but little Tom had almost nothing and couldn't have paid it. And "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" was written in 1964 and made into movies in 1971 and 2005. Quite some years after Riddle's childhood. So, with neither a telly nor that movie available I can guarantee that Riddle was NOT forced to watch it as a child, no matter how traumatising it was for Harry. |
