It was the best fanfiction I have ever read about Hiccup and Astrid. I was wondering why it's not available anymore ? I am so sad to not be able to read it again and again and again ... I think neither are blameless, and despite this being an AU story, their core personalities are still very much similar to their originals. I also have a confession and request of you. Many, MANY years ago, I read 2 stories here on Fanfiction: "Tongue Tied" and its sequel, "Such Great Heights." It was the best HTTYD fanfiction I have ever read, to this date. And recently, the stories popped back into my head. It took some hunting to remember the names, but when I finally found the names and YOU, I was shocked to see that the stories are no longer uploaded. I can only imagine some idiot tried to steal your stories and that's why, but can I make a plea for bringing them back? What I remember most about those works is how easily you captured the awkwardness of being a teenager, of understanding and accepting yourself, and how important it is to know that there is someone else out there that accepts you as well. I see that same understanding in "Home for the Holidays" and your other HTTYD works as well. So, with no shame whatsoever, can I beg you to share those works again? |
