Author has written 4 stories for Fruits Basket, Legend of Zelda, Inuyasha, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. It occurs to me that people actually look at this profile thing and expect me to have written something. So here goes... About Me... Name: Malkharah Sign: Scorpio (I was born on Halloween) Hobbies: Reading, writing, and drawing anything involving fantasy. I love anime and manga and I'm trying to expand my collection, but the stuff's so darned expensive it's a slow process. I love video games, generally RPGs, hiking, playing card games... When I get the right group of people I love D&D (or other TTRPGs)... I make stuff (soap, clothes, crafts, furniture, whatever). Current Projects... Drawn Together - Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir - OMG this magnificent show leapt out and dragged me under, and I'm drowning in the fandom and loving every second of it. Entering her third year of university, Marinette struggles with balancing the demands of class work, her internship at Agreste Fashions, and her responsibilities as a super hero. Her life is slowly and pleasantly turned upside down when the model for her Figure Drawing class turns out to be none other than her long lost crush Adrien Agreste, whom she hasn't seen in four years. A Trend... You may notice a trend in my fiction, and that is that I LOVE to make up my own characters and stick them in where they probably don't belong. I see this as a test of my skills as a writer. The question being, "Can I change the romantic pairings in this story without changing the characters too much or disrupting the story's integrity?" The answer is up to you, the reader. I love making up my own characters to stick in the stories I love. It's just fun! So if you're against non cannon pairings, you have been warned. UPDATE: LOL... I don't do this as much anymore. Now I'm all "CANNON Pairings!" where applicable, or mix-n-match pairings with cannon characters. What I have starting with OCs I'll keep, but new stories tend to be pretty low on OCs. Interesting how we change, isn't it? About My Habits... I tend to update infrequently and irregularly. I don't do this to piss people off (which I know it does), but I can only write when I feel inspired to do so. If I write when I'm not inspired the result is usually short, uninterresting, and a general waste of bandwidth. I have many stories that I'm working on, my art, career, and friends and family... so I have quite a few things going on. My best suggestion is to put me on your Author Alert list. That way, when I update, you'll know about it, so you don't need to check back all the time; you can just sit back and wait for the notification email. :D Other Stuff... I hope you enjoy my writing. I do it for myself, mostly, but I love hearing what other people think about it. Just don't review only to tell me to update. Please. It won't work. Other than that, I like constructive critcism. I view fanfiction as a way to practice for my original works, a method of honing my skill in wordsmithing. Sometimes it's just a deadend (older fics, I'm looking at you) and sometimes it gives you ideas for original works, and that's really my end goal: to become a better writer and, someday, a REAL author. |
