Cute story

I haven't read Ouran for many years, so my memory might not serve correct. Kyouya's trouble with opening his emotions and the conclusion the manga had with that left a stale taste in my mouth. He never branched out to state what he wanted, he stayed in the background so the romance between Haruhi and Tamaki. I understand why, he wasn't the type of character that was able to hurt his best friend but I wish he was more honest like Hikaru. So, it's nice to see a well written story that touches on this sensitive subject in a manner that allows Kyouya to be direct. Writing this narrative around a piano was a very smart way to get him to open up and for Haruhi to work her comforting magic.. the type of magic Kyouya is charmed by.

Awe this was such a cute KyoHaru fic! Love at Kyoya being a little softy for the commoner! Nicely done! You created some incredible one liners that had me rolling!

“My best friend is evil incarnate," hahahaha, loved that. And the fact that Kyoya saw Tamaki as a rival, and Tamaki only saw him as a friend. I would like to see what Tamaki would do if he wanted to compete with Kyoya, could be fun to see Kyoya put to a real test, not just in his head!

And. Key I fell sorry for Tamaki! And wonder, if there wasn’t a crisis going on, how would she have answered him...such a fun story!

Lots of great moments, but my favorite has to be Ranka questioning and Kyoya watching from the closet completely unconcerned. Can’t wait to see what he decides! Thanks again for a great story.

I love that he was so jealous of the possibility of Haruhi starting to ride home with Tamaiki that he instantly gave up on his plans. It was so sweet that she didn’t force him to talk, instead just enjoyed his presence. I enjoy how they keep surprising me with their decisions as they stumble along trying to figure out how to have a relationship. So stinking cute together!

Seems Haruhi might still be holding a bit of a torch for Tamaki seeing as she wants to confirm he still sees her just as a daughter, interesting... I sure wouldn’t mind opening my door to Kyoya, lucky girl! I have to give Haruhi credit for handling Kyoya’s possessiveness so well

That was a steamy chapter . I’m proud of both of them, her for sticking to her guns and not being pressured and for him realizing her boundaries and not trying to push. I really like how easy it was for him to say the L word, that seemed very true. Once he makes a decision he doesn’t shy from it, so I can believe he wouldn’t have any hesitance about saying it. Another wonderful chapter!
