I, on the other hand, would be horrible at the 'secret identity' thing, based on my face. I don't have a great sense of how distinctive my face is relative to other people's, but I've had classmates who I hardly even remembered recognize me years later and out of the school context; even after drastic hairstyle changes. Added to that, I have trouble distinguishing faces, so I don't think I could be trusted to know if a costume obscured my features enough.
On the other hand, I'm a huge loner; I've only had a few friendships through the years that extended beyond the borders of the school campus, and even those fell away as soon as we stopped going to school together. Since I graduated, I basically only talk to my family- between rarely wanting to do anything other than reading quietly, and having horrible sound-triggered headaches sometimes, there's not much incentive for me to go out and deal with the noisy world. So my old school mates might recognize me as soon as my superhero persona appeared on the news, but there wouldn't be anybody current except my family who knew me well enough to realize, and I'd probably tell my family anyways. Save time on excuses, you know? I trust them, and the whole "keep the fact that I'm a hero from my family to protect them" thing doesn't make sense to me in most cases. A villain finding out my identity might put them in danger, but I think them knowing that and being prepared is worth the risk of one of them accidentally leaking the secret. If one of my sisters were a notorious gossip, I'd probably think twice about telling her, but short of that...

I hope that there will be a sequel to this fic!

The more fics I read, the more I realize how amazing Marinette's parents are! Both combined and solo they are what I wish I had while growing up. I'm 28 and still feel like a high schooler even though I'm now the primary breadwinner. Fyi, being responsible sucks but it comes with adulthood, and things like rent and laundry are more important than video games and such, but I digress.

tfw Chloe had a better mom than Audrey, and that she's capable of being a good person & friend at times because of that!

OMG, it's great! I found your story today and I couldn't stop reading!

I just think that there should be more talking between Marinette and Adrien after he found out she's Ladybug. Like something more than simply 'I love you, let's kiss'. They hurted each other badly with their masks on and one sad story from Mari is, in my opinion, not enough to fix it. They should've talked about this - Mari's fears, Adrien's feelings, at least one more apologize. Adrien loved both sides of Marinette, but she rejected him AKA Cat Noir. It deserves more attention from them!

I love how you showed another side of Chloe and Gabriel, I'd like to read more about it. I mean kind of sequel, but with more Chloe and Gabriel and Nathalie! Nathalie and Gorilla are great! Maybe story when Chloe is chosen to have her miraculous and as Mari and Adrien know their real names they would convince her to reveal herself and Adrien would just lock Chloe and Mari in one room, so they'd have to actually talk and eventually, knowing their stories, become some kind of friends (or just make their terms better, idk ). And Gabriel who's trying to spend one evening with his son. It doesn't have to be perfect but to show that he cares. That he's trying to be a father to his son. I'd love to read something like that and you're story is amazing! It's written so well and a plot isn't boring. There're so many funny moments I just couldn't help but laugh. More stories like this!

I really liked this piece of work! It is interesting to see the relationship between Adrian and Marrinet's family, it is unique. There were so many things that I burst out in a smile while reading this. It is a great story and you did a wonderful job writing it
